If this is supposed to be parody, it's not very funny. Ryder is playing this completely straight.

I love things that are so bad they are good.
But this is just bad.

lol it's not suppose to be good. SMH at some of you. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley to you, too. Well, the song is called "Hoeski".

At least it was late 90s early 2000s pop with the obligatory rap verse, and not modern pop with auto-tune.

...even as a satire of 90s boy bands that was woeful. Ryder needs to work on what he's doing comedy wise as it just doesn't cut it these days. If it's meant to be bad as a statement against a certain type of music (which Zack's admitted he loves anyway so it doesn't quite work) or to point out how much of a loser Zack is, then, well it works. It makes him look a loser. "Got dumped, she must be a whore!" Vintage stupid alpha-male attitudes. At least it was late 90s early 2000s pop with the obligatory rap verse, and not modern pop with auto-tune. Instead he did the thing which was the auto-tune of the time (albeit auto-tune was already in play by the early 2000s but regardless of that) and add a ton of echo to his vocal track to make up for a lack of presence.

Zack Ryder proving once again how outdated his entire gimmick is. I gave up after 90 seconds. The way he shoe-horns in the words broski and hoeski are flat-out awful.

I think being "outdated" makes the gimmick seem more "real". Like if Zack Ryder changed just because the "guido fad" died or because the Jersey Shore show got canceled, then it makes him look like a product rather than a person.

I have no problem with the song, I just don't see how he thinks this is gonna change anything for him. Considering the person who allegedly inspired the song, left.

I have no problem with the song, I just don't see how he thinks this is gonna change anything for him. Considering the person who allegedly inspired the song, left. Maybe the song was intended to be Zack's version of Eve's sendoff, the same way that the limo explosion was for John Morrison. Maybe it hasn't "changed anything for Ryder's career". Maybe the song is a metaphor for Zack Ryder's career in general. He might have changed his outlook. Instead of moping around, he's just going to continue being "The Little Jobber That Could", and put his heart into it. He's accepted that comedy midcarder might be his niche, and rather than demand to be pushed higher while not having the talent to back it up, he's going to be the most entertaining jobber he can be.

That was awful and fun. I also loved Sandcastles in the Sand though. Speaking of Zack Ryder, according to an interview in WWE magazine, he had cancer as a teenager. But he also mentions that he doesn't really talk about it because he doesn't want to turn it into a sympathy issue. Oh wow. That makes his underdog story even more inspirational (if you ignore his quick fall down the ranks and his whining on twitter). Just end the movie when he wins the US Title.

If you are going to do a cheesy 90's boy band video, go all out with it. This was Rebecca Black's "Friday" without the charm.

If Ryder didnt sound so phoned in on the whole thing, maybe I would have enjoyed it more.
I found it humorous though. I dont think it will benefit him in anyway, though.

I'd laugh so hard if Ryder's music video went viral.

Yeah...that was terrible. It's hard to take it as a joke, because as people have said he seems really serious and at no point acknowledges how stupid it is. And even with it being something different from what he's done in the past, it's pretty much exactly the same as everything else, just this time set to music.
