Dire. Just dire.
That song was the musical equivalent of Battlefield Earth; I don't know whether it was bad on purpose, if it genuinely sucked, or some unknown third option. All I know is Zack looked and sounded like a complete ass, and Robbie E. does his gimmick better than him.

Well, the Zack Ryder bandwagon sure rocked till the wheels fell off, and plunged off a cliff, didn't it?

Maybe Ryder is going to turn into a SRS heel, and Hoeski is going to be Ryder's "Stand Back" that the faces bust out whenever they want to make fun of him.
(Ryder comes out and cuts a SRS promo.)
Ryder: I am going to dominate the entire WWE. I am the biggest Internet star in the history of the WWE. You know who started this whole Twitter, Tout, and YouTube nonsense. I did. WWE can thank me for becoming a social media company
(Alex Riley comes out with a goofy smile on his face.)
Riley: Hey everybody, Zack's right. He is a huge star on the internet, and you should all respect him for that. You should even respect his short foray as a recording artist. Take a look at this
Ryder: No! You play that video and I swear...
(Hoeski starts playing on the titantron. Maybe we get a shot of King, Cole, or Miz doing a funny dance at the announce table)
(Once the video is done playing, Ryder is left in the ring pissed off while the crowd starts chanting "ROSES ARE RED, AND VIOLETS ARE BLUE, YOU MAY HAVE LEFT ME, BUT I STILL WOO WOO WOO!", And Ryder starts angrily yelling for them to stop singing.)
Ryder: ALL OF YOU STOP SINGING THAT DAMN SONG! SHUT UP!!!

I thought it was funny. It was supposed to be awful and playing it straight is what makes it funny. Acknowledging the stupidity, winking at the camera as it were, instantly makes things less funny, but if you're the kind of person that laughs at Epic Movie/A Haunted House type humor, or most Raw comedy skits, you won't understand this.

Ryder's whole gimmick is that he's awful, and either being blissfully unaware or totally embracing how awful he is is what makes him funny and fun to watch.

I thought the rap part was okay.
I'm calling it now. By Wrestlemania, this will surpass Gangam Style in views.

I'll say this though. It would work a lot better if he was a heel since it makes more sense to laugh at a heel, than laugh at a face. Maybe they could spin this into a feud with 3MB. They could mock his video, he questions why they haven't released anything yet, yadda, yadda.

As a parody.... still not good.

I loved it...mainly because my fiancee dumped me on Xmas Day. It was our second stint together, so it had some parallel ideas there.

Zack Ryder proving once again how outdated his entire gimmick is. I gave up after 90 seconds. The way he shoe-horns in the words broski and hoeski are flat-out awful. I think being "outdated" makes the gimmick seem more "real". Like if Zack Ryder changed just because the "guido fad" died or because the Jersey Shore show got canceled, then it makes him look like a product rather than a person. I dunno, Zack Ryder kind of is a product already in that sense isn't he? Not saying that's a bad thing, but he could be wrestling's posterchild for Twitter and Facebook at this point. As for the video... The woman is pretty.
