Exactly what it says on the tin. To start it off, one of my favorites:

Very fun cover, made me want to check out what is a horribly under-read series from the middle of the past decade. All Ages doesn't mean 'not for adults', and the first year of these stories by Jeff Parker are very entertaining. As a kid, I had never seen anything like this. So many random heroes. From the first printing of Preacher's second tpb. It's a haunting piece, and intrigued me so much i went out to buy the first book just so I could read this. Light and sexy without going overboard, with striking colours. Possibly my fav cover of all time. Great Adam Hughes piece from when he'd actually do interiors!! So much to love in the background, but Booster and Beetle front and center make it a classic.

Going back a little further it's amazing, for someone that did such a small amount of comic work, that Steranko would still leave lasting impressions. The man is full of himself to the point of ridiculousness, but it's hard to argue that he shouldn't be when he was as talented as he was. I wrote about this issue in my short Doom Patrol retrospective, and yeah, the cover is just still amazing. The following is a cover I get a little emotional over, from a series of artist responses to 9-11-2001. Honestly I'm not sure if the sort of thing people would find tacky or campy, like a lot of the post 9-11 things can seem, but I like it as a piece of its own and love it knowing its roots.

Don't know the issue number, but it's from the Knightfall story arch in which Jean-Paul in the cape and cowl as Batman is beating a hoodlum with a piece wood with nails in it while a horrified Tim Drake/Robin looks on.

Here's one of my all-time favorite covers by the BEST Spider-Man artist ever John Romita: I love stories with people in horrible situations and this cover just nailed me the moment I first saw it:
