I didn't get this match up at all or even want to see this. Is there a history between the two I keep overlooking?
On reddit I was down voted in a thread that mentioned the match up for asking "Why Orton". It's a legit question and I'm not trying to Troll anybody with it.

I think because Orton's done it all at Wrestlemania. The only two big matches for him right now are against Brock or Sheamus.

I think it has to do that Orton has pretty constant main-event level booking for a long time now so he'd be one of very few threats that the fans could buy taking down Lesnar at this stage.
He has a pretty good bad-ass vibe down for him, and as far as I know the match has never happened before so It would be one of the few genuinely fresh match up's left, and anything that isn't a re-match suddenly seems pretty welcome at this point in regards to Mania.

Orton is one of those guys who could go after Part timers and feel like he belongs kinda.
Plus, 2002 OVW class!

I kind of like the idea for the feud simply because unlike Lesnar vs. white bread babyface Cena or Lesnar vs. badass, yet still corporate family man HHH, its Brock against a guy who's character is as (if not more) sociopathic than him with Orton.

I find it a bit confusing too. It's such a random feud idea. I want to see Barrett vs Lesnar tbh with the buildup being Barrett been a bareknuckle boxing champ going up against a MMA champ to prove who is the best fighter in the world.
Barret wins = Blam! Instant star

Discussed could mean 1 guy mentioned it once in passing
