User login here was fashioned after the guy. He was amazing.
Went by Sweet n' Sour here for years... dropped to SnS after I heard about his death. Didn't feel right keeping it.

Unfortunately, i didn't know much of him until after he died, but man, what a talent. He was the man. I used to work at Home Depot and they'd play "more, more, more" over the intercom. It would always make me think of Larry. Definitely wish he would've stuck through whatever troubles he had.

Not seen any of his work bar what's posted on here. Clearly a talent and any loss is a sad one. RIP Larry.

Being around Chicago and the frontier fieldhouse I saw and hung out with him at Roses many many times...The guy was a true talent but also very much in trouble...Alot of people even fellow wrestlers chose to look the other way...He would stand outside and offer to do bumps on the concrete for cash...Saddens me to see such a truly gifted man fall to the lengths he did

He was a regular in IWC, a local indy fed around Pittsburgh. He was always the highlight of the show, and was a great face in the promotion. Last time I saw him live he made a surprise return (after many of his problems) in a War Games match, and it was a really great moment.

I will always be the next jobber for the ICW/ICWA Texarkana Television Championship. When I was getting into Indy wrestling I saw him and Frankie The Mobster face Team Masturbation and I was hooked. Can't hear More, More, More without thinking of him. Just wished I had picked up a Sweet & Sour t-shirt.

For me, Larry Sweeney is undoubtedly the biggest loss of potential wrestling has had since maybe Owen's death. Sweeney was a relic but the very best kind -- an absolute diamond on the mic and so much fire in his actions just around the ring. I saw him a couple of times and have great memories of my friend heckling him (and him responding), and I genuinely miss him so much. I wish we could have him back. BTW, I really want to read this interview with him: www.believermag.com/issues/201001/?read=interview_whybrow. It looks incredible.
