Agreed, we should jus ignore it, and I'm guilty of not doing that, but I can't help myself. I am of eh beleif that, while people can like whoever the hell they want, I have a duty, ney an OBLIGATION, to point out nonsense, and declare shenanegans when I see them. So, I am caught in a paradox.

yeah I'm in the same boat, I said a while back I wouldn't acknowledge him, but he annoys me so much I just had to respond. I don't mind someone defending Cena in a reasonable way, but this shit is ridiculous.

That's the best you can really do. Just ignore. Feeding them only makes them multiply.

To defend a gimmick, to defend the direction of a CHARACTER, you must approach it as a character, not as "OMGREALBLARG", which this kid is doing. Everything he says screams "mark" and that's fine. But, if you truly believe Cena is "battling the odds, showing his toughness, and being real" in a worked business, then that's where I must step in and say, "declare up front, PLEASE, that you feel it's all legit, so that we may approach with kid gloves and kind words, rather than sarcasm and the jarring left hook of reality.

I'm sticking with the "troll" definition.
And totally OT... stuff like "OMGREALBLARG" will never cease to make me laugh out loud like a complete hyena.

Agreed, also. To say that Cena has more "it" than Eddie or Benoit is just completely erreneous. This guy is a troll, and that's that.

John Cena's promos are origional with new and freshly clever wordplay in his idiosyncratically inclined ad-libs mixed in with scripted promos. Aimed at giving entertainment. John doesn't do the repetitive poop/gay/dick reference jokes anymore. He doesn't always use catch phrases though, when it's appropriate he does utilize them. His wrestling skills are better than just average and his moves are powerful and impressive. He's awesome, and does have heart, realisim and in-ring talent and athleticisim.

LOLOL!!!
OK, I'm still encouraging everyone to ignore, but that's damn funny.
When the last Olympics was coming around and all those rumors about a Kurt Angle appearance were going around me and the hubs were joking that it would be great (improbable, but funny as all hell) if there was a run-in during Kurt's match. All of a sudden, someone's getting smacked with a traffic sign or something.

I concur, Cena sucks indeed. His title reign sucks, and that belt of his is ridiculous. I'm sure this will stir up the blind Cena marks.

Well, I don't think it would make sense for someone like Cena to have a belt like Austin had. It suits his character, the spinner belt.
Personally though, the belt doesn't compare to the customized US Title. I absolutely loved that.

John Cena doesn't suck. Neither does his title reign. I like the more power based style he has along with his incorproating athleticisim in his matches. His strength, power and athleticisim are impressive as well! His wrestling is intelligent and though he is young, strong and smart.

John Cena's been wrestling in WWE since 2002

He's been wrestling for awhile. Since 1998 or 2000 I do believe, but I think 1998 may be right. He actually did a few things before coming to the WWE. He was a huge part of UPW, and the Discovery Channel did a special on wrestling, and they had wrestlers show how to do the moves, and John Cena was the guy wrestling. He was one of the top alumni from UPW. Others from there who have been a little famous are Somoa Joe, Chris Masters and Frankie Kazarian (I think Frankie anyway).
Why does Cena have his own belt? Because Cena's character is one that tries to go against tradition. So, it wouldn't be sensible for Cena to have it.
And the US Title had a neat look to it. I don't know, I just really loved that belt. It was my favourite customized belt. Besides, the WWE title hasn't been as good looking since they dumped the Eagle belt, last held by Steve Austin before he gave up the belt for the blue one.
He's been wrestling in the WWE since 2002. His rise in the WWE was similar to Austin's, where it took him 2 and a half to 3 years to get the title.
