Imagine Dusty Rhodes cutting a promo as Goldust, and in the full makeup.

If they do bring Dustin Runnells back, I don't want to see the Goldust gimmick come with him. I would love to see a Dustin Runnells vs. Ric Flair IC title feud. Have Ric insult Dusty for his past mistakes as a booker and the reason as to why Ric was always made to look bad in NC. Dustin could come in to protect his father. Any thoughts on that, or would it be wrestlecrap?

I don't know, I don't like bringing up someone being the booker on tv. Yes, we all know it's booked, but I still don't think it should be brought up as part of the show. It's supposed to seem at least somewhat real, and acknowledging a booker completely blows that apart.

I've always been a huge Goldust mark. Not ashamed.
I would love to see him still suffering from Tourette's.

I don't like them talking about "bookers" either. Yeah, it's scripted, but I still like to forget that and get lost in the action.
However, I wouldn't mind, in any way, Dustin Runnels coming back as himself, rather than Goldie. Goldie's funny, sure, but we haven't seen the Son of the American Dream on TV in a long while so that'd be fresh. He's not young enough to be a prodigy anymore, of course, and shouldn't be booked as a second generation new guy, but they could even acknowledge his Goldust past, give him a reason for moving on from it, and just let him work as himself for awhile.

I think Goldust has one of the best move names ever, "The Shattered Dreams." Ya know when he puts the opponent in the corner straddled in a split on the middle ropes, then runs in with a knee to where the sun don't shine. The move is not spectacular but the name of it rules. Goldust has been a great character but maybe some of you are right, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes was fun to watch minus body suit and paint.

Goldust was awesome, but I agree that it'd be nice to see him come back as Dustin Rhodes (NOT Dustin Runnels). Remember back when they tried to have him be just Dustin Runnels (he was awkwardly preaching the idea of having morals or something) and he would come out with no music and really bland attire? In my opinion it was laughably bad, and I assume many others did too since they eventually reverted him back to Goldust.

When has "Dustin Rhodes" ever been a success? Never, so what makes you think he would now?
Golddust = Money.

"Dustin Rhodes" has never had a CHANCE to be a success in WWE. Actually, the only time I even remember him wrestling under that name in the WWE was back when Dusty and him tagged against Dibiase and Virgil.

I will now correct myself, ''Rhodes,'' would make more sense that ''Runnels.''

And you simply can't forget his ten minute survival match against Dibiase! A Saturday morning classic.

You don't recall the "Terri/Marlena, Goldust/Dustin, Venis/pee pee" love triangle?
(And did anyone get the "slash pee pee" gag up there?.. Get it?.. Choppy Choppy?.. Hello?.. Is this thing on?..)
