After trying to remember to catch it for the past two weeks, I finally caught it tonight. I really like it, brutal, brutal stuff.
It's just kinda crazy how much of a distance there is between the #2 and the #1 in both wrestling and MMA (I also thought it was funny that Spike housed the #2's overall). I mean, WWE and UFC go all over and sell out huge arenas, but Impact and Bellator play much smaller places. I know that, in the case of MMA, UFC tends to acquire anybody that gets near them, but I still thought the distance was crazy.
So, yeah, how are you guys liking it?

It's on at a good time... can't really complain. Don't care about a lot of fighters, especially now that the names were WRECKED in the first round of the LHW tourney, but good enough.

The tournament format provides a nice alternative to the UFC. I watched seasons two and three when they were on Fox Sports, but have missed the entire MTV2 era, since my cable company doesn't carry it. I'm glad to see them on a new network, and always happy to see MMA on free television.

My cousin Kevin is one of the heavyweight guys. Unfortunately, he didn't get off to a hot start (got doctor's stoppaged out of a fight with Brett Rogers, but I know he'd have kept going in the third if he could have.) I'm hoping to see him do well.
