What are everybody's thoughts on this film?
Never saw it back in the day, but I watched it a couple weeks ago and was pretty surprised. I wasn't expecting a lot, but it's a perfectly fine family film - a fun little flick.
Its real selling point, in my opinion, is the original songs. My God, are they GREAT.
This is one of the songs from the film, Bonnie Raitt and Don Henley providing the singing voice for two of the bears. I guess I was just expecting a movie filled with typically cheesy, but good, Disney songs - so when I heard that song with those lyrics I was blown away.
Anyway, for those that have seen the film - what are your thoughts on it?

Ah, a Disney ride/attraction movie that isn't PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. If only all those others hadn't been flops, maybe we'd be living in a world today that featured the HALL OF PRESIDENTS movie on DVD....

It's a strange movie. The Muppets 2011 has the same plot as this one.

I can't even bring myself to watch the trailer because I've always thought the sheer look of this film is horrifying.

I can't even bring myself to watch the trailer because I've always thought the sheer look of this film is horrifying. That's the reason I didn't see it when it came out. I loved, and still love, puppets and whatnot, and other life size figures like Sweetums never freaked me out, but something about The Country Bears was just really offputting. It's still weird, but it doesn't terrify me like it used to.

Christopher Walken yelling at bears. Awesome.

I saw this a while back. It's a dumb harmless "save the old venue" comedy, but the bear designs are a tad too uncanny valley at times.

I can't even bring myself to watch the trailer because I've always thought the sheer look of this film is horrifying. As the player character in Smash TV would say, "BINGO!"

I can't even bring myself to watch the trailer because I've always thought the sheer look of this film is horrifying. At least it didn't remind you of a cereal commercial. S--- looks like a long commercial of Teddy Grams.
