I always read about how annoying the commentating is now, or how conversational it has become. I never really notice it nowadays, I did listen more when JBL came back or when Punk was at the desk. I also enjoy when they put the random wrestler on the headset for a match. But for the most part I tune out cole and king. I can't pin point when this happened exactly, maybe because I have kids now who are usually jabbering away or my wife is talking about other things. I just don't really pay any attention to the two anymore.
My favorite commentators of all time was Styles and Ross. But nowadays I barely catch what they are saying..
Does anybody else happen to do this?

Yup.
If there were an option to mute commentary, I would totally do it.

I usually do unless they are either really good or extremely bad. Then its just natural to listen for some reason. Cole and King's laughing at the Rock last night was pure torture.

I tune it out most of the time, and I have for awhile (although I'm not sure when I started doing that). I only really tune it out for Raw and SmackDown, though; if I watch Superstars or NXT, I find myself actually listening to commentary a lot of the time.
Sometimes I'll randomly notice what they're saying on commentary, like when they jabber on for awhile about something totally unrelated to the match, and that'll get me momentarily annoyed but then it tends to just fade into the background again for me.

The sad thing is, I doubt there's anyone left who can do commentary every week. JR probably could, but Vince seems to hate him doing it for some reason and no legit sports commentator would touch WWE.

Nope
I don't mind the commentary, it's just when they do annoying things like constantly shill the WWE app, twitter, tout or do that stupid fake laugh. Rest of the time the commentary is okay or tolerable.

They're nice enough to tune themselves out right at the end of some episodes of Raw by not saying anything.

Mostly it's just background noise that I've kind of gotten used to but then King sprouts off stuff like he did about Heath last night and that makes me listen a little closer.

I tune commentators out unless they do something super obtrusive or annoying, I know lots of people love them some JBL, but I have to skip Smackdown because of his backhanded whining and horse chewing gum voice.

I like it better than it was a couple of years ago when Cole was full- on heel and talking about the Miz in every segment.

This may sound ridiculous, but listen to a show with spanish commentary. You get the crowd and its easy to tune out the announcers.
