I think it might be.
A legit one I didn't know was Greg Gagne. You learn something new every day.
But yeah, Joe was featured prominently in the CM Punk DVD, but man, I guess a person could dream with him coming to WWE.

Didn't know about Joe, Sullivan, the Freebirds, Tiger Mask and Greg Gagne.
Overall a good list.

Huh, Essa Rios also was in that really early Low-Ki match. Is it a coincidence, or was he like the tryout guy?

If the RnR Express are going to make it to reappear in the WWF in 19998 I want their advice on healthy living.

In the same vein, AJ Styles made one appearance in WWE.

And Buff main evented a Raw.. must of ran out of guys to mention I think the list was mostly obscure people as well, and a lot of them are. Here's a gem they posted to go along with this article though. The Acolytes getting a bit upset with Public Enemy, holy crap. Jimmy Kordares talked about this match before, and yeah, they even cut out the chairshot to the head.

I like when they actually acknowledge people on the outside like Samoa Joe, and the promotions on the outside. It'd be like Sky Sports acknowledging the Premier League but completely disregarding any lower leagues. It's just good all around.

I didn't bother following the link to see what it's all about, but it could probably be truthfully re-titled: "14 Notable Wrestlers who were either passed over by WWE or turned down offers from WWE."

Kronik had a PPV match with Taker and Kane, who wouldn't remember that? I'm surprised they'd even list them here - even the entry mentions Crush and Adam Bomb. That opens up the idea further of acknowledging wrestlers under different gimmicks. "Hey, did you know we hired Steamboat back in 1991 but didn't allow him to go by his name or have anyone on commentary call him by anything but 'The Dragon'??"

I swear I never remember seeing or hearing him mentioned under his real name in 1991. I always believed - once I learned how to be a smark and like it - it was extended punishment for leaving in '87.

Christopher Daniels is a former WWF Tag Team Champion Daniels never actually wrestled during the Conquistador angle in 2000. He only appeared in backstage skits where Edge and Christian needed to be shown with the Conquistadors. During actual matches, it was E&C under the masks.
