Personally, I'm astonished the guy has absolutely no relation to "Fred".

I've asked the same about Smosh, Fred and countless other YouTube "celebrities".

Nero, by the way, who are the midcard mafia? Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. They tried to get over with a youtube series after what Ryder did and called it the midcard mafia. It...it wasn't very funny. It wasn't offensive or anything, just so incredibly not funny it was annoying. It was so unfunny the WWE actually ordered them to take down the cartoons, if I remember correctly. Here's the only episode that seems to still exist on the internet:

Wow...a Song about how they're fat and love to eat....... If I wanted to hear Original Comedy like that..... I'd By a Delorean, Convert it into a Working Time Machine.....then Travel back to 1988 and Listen to Weird Al do it WELL! Word. I don't find him offensive, just not funny. That's how it's done.

B) That Boogie guy is adorable *blushes and swoons* You ought to check out his channel - he's just awesome. One of my top 3 favorite YouTubers right now, past being hilarious and awesome he constantly puts out content. I've never seen him go a few days without putting up some kind of video - even if it's just a few minute update.

I don't think anyone should be above mocking. That said, he went too far because this is the most unfunny thing I've seen since the midcard mafia. There's nothing clever or interesting about that. No funny jokes. No good music. No funny video. It's offensive because of how bad it is. I like the cut of your jib.

I'm overweight, didn't find it offensive, did find it painfully unfunny.

Out of curiosity, what does 'no one is above mocking' mean? It sounds like we can mock anyone just because we can. Though in reality it sounds like people like Onision giving themselves license to be dickheads. "Haha, you're fat!" "Haha, you're in a wheelchair!" "Haha, your mom died of cancer!" Like... seriously? We wouldn't tolerate this level of discourse in our everyday lives, but when it has a thin veneer of humour, it somehow gets a pass? Why not at least, I don't know, treat people with a modicum of respect?
Onision's video even has the strawman arguments of 'well, I make fun of myself all the time, which means what I say isn't really that bad' or 'I actually know fat people', which is the level of Stephen Colbert 'I'm friends with black people' blank parody without noting the irony of the argument that someone like Colbert is, oddly enough, mocking.

I take the argument to mean, and what I mean by it, as a free speech type deal. I don't think that anything should be off limits to joke about, as a comedian, or person, has the right to say what they want. However, I reserve the right to criticize what I find to be tasteless humor, or lazy humor in a case like this where it's going after an easy target. I'm not a comedian, but there's A LOT of things I wouldn't joke about, and I find it tasteless when others do, but I don't wish to tell anybody that they can't do it simply because I don't like it. So, yes, it kinda-sorta does give people an open to just be douchebags, but it goes back to free speech, which is important even if what they're saying is unpopular or just downright wrong, offensive and rude.

Another great response, talking about Onision's response to the original video as opposed to the original video. Much longer than boogi2988's, but that's mainly because he shows Onision's response in full.
It's worth a watch, though, because apparently this Onision character pretty much shames his girlfriend, who he took to Mexico so he could marry while she was 17, into thinking that her being 120 pounds is fat. I say apparently because these are things that have supposedly been on her Twitter, Facebook and tumblr posts, and seeing as I have no idea who she is - I can't verify them myself. However, seeing as this guy seems like a narcissistic bullying prick, I'm not going to rush to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As far as the "No one is off-limits" theory is concerned....I agree with the premise.
But.....the more "Offensive" it is to your audience, the more absurd/Ridiculous/Funny it needs to be.
Take "The Aristocrats" for example....the joke is THE single filthiest joke ever conceived, because in essence it's a Shaggy Dog Story. The Joke isn't "He's doing something offensive!" It's "Can he top the LAST offensive thing?". It's about ORIGINALITY.
Mocking ANY group, generally isn't original. Some groups have entire GENRES of jokes about them, which means that yes they can be mocked, but everyone's heard it before.
In essence....yes, anyone can be a target, but unless you're bringing your comedic "A-Game"...you might find yourself targeted far easier and more creatively

Count me as someone who was more offended by how bad I was, worst part is I might need to listen to it again to get it out my head.

I saw a drama-queen that feels compelled to nip at the heels of a douchebag. Found both rather annoying.

Nope. I don't think anyone is above mocking but obviously some things need a lot of effort to be mocked. For example, I have never met a single person who believed that Weird Al's Fat was offensive. Why? Because it was legitimately funny, involved a lot of effort and was extremely well-made. But compared to Al's Fat, you look at this and it's so entirely unfunny that you get offended. Because if it's not a funny video about insulting people, then it's just insulting people. I'm far from saying something is okay if it's just disguised under a thin veil of humor. No one is above mocking, but the humor needs to be good and that can get pretty hard depending on the subject. And seriously, this is extremely unfunny.

I'm no size 2, but I did (and still do) find Weird Al hilarious. As for the other douche canoe, he needs to take a long hike off a short cliff. The guy is NOT funny at all.

As others have said, the most offensive thing about the video is how unfunny it is. Nutty Professor 2 did a better job at making fun of fat people. At least that didn't seem like outright hatred.

This is Onision. He's a scumf*** who only dates young impressionable girls only to abuse physically and mentally. The only people who like him are scumf***s like him or dumb impressionable white middle class teenagers who don't know, or will know, any better.
