Update on Lockdown Ticket Sales
- Two weeks ago TNA sold 3000 tickets, and last week sold just over half the seats on sale.
- Today, section 137 was opened for sales. There are a total of 1089 seats in that section, but only 732 have been made available as of right now.
- Since the last report, the number of tickets sold has risen from 2618 to 3771 while the number of seats available has gone from 3981 to 3560 -- making the total of number of seats on sale to 7331, which has increased from 6599 due to the opening of section 137.
Here is a breakdown of sections that still have seats available and the amount currently sold in those sections:
• Section 101 399 sold 235 available
• Section 144 810 sold 34 available
• Section 143 609 sold 273 available
• Section 142 62 sold 379 available
• Section 141 60 sold 562 available
• Section 140 52 sold 570 available
• Section 139 18 sold 398 available
• Section 138 626 sold 434 available
• Section 137 35 sold 697 available
After last night's Impact the sales picked up a little and about 200 tickets have been sold so far today, which is a larger daily average than what has been in the past few weeks. The tipping point for sales will be local promotion.
The sales have had a steady increase but like I said a few weeks ago, if TNA wants to sell the majority of the seats available, they will need to do some promotion in San Antonio and send some of the big names down there to get the word out. I will post further updates on my Twitter @mistertna when they happen. Any big updates will be reported here; expect that to be the final week leading into Lockdown, which will likely be filled with heavy promotion for the show.
