He usually brings the comedic to action movies. Has he ever been in an actual comedy? Club Dread.

He actually has been in more blockbusters that made the most money of any actor. Titanic Twister Weird Science others I can't think of right now cuz my brain hurts.

I guess after "Twister" tanked it was a GAME OVER for him, man. It sucked, but made a shit load of money.

He was great in his somewhat limited role in Tombstone.

I seem to recall that Frailty was really good. He has never sucked in anything he has done but he simply does not project that leading man quality (whatever in the hell that happens to be). He can be relied upon to do a solid job in whatever role you want him for, has enough star recognition that he adds to the marquee as a lesser billing, and can be used as a solid lead for a smaller production.

He was fantastic in The Dark Backward, though I understand why a lot of the world didn't care for that movie.

Because he's nothing. He's navel lint! He has to lie to women to get laid, and he doesn't score much. Yeah! Big? Are you kidding? He's got a little dick, it's pathetic!

Yeah, he was awesome in that. I also recommend heavily A Simple Plan. Granted, Billy Bob Thornton runs away with it, but Paxton still has a lot of good moments.

The Stonecutters decided that they wanted to make Steve Guttenberg a star and someone else had to take the fall. Just like the electric car, they hold back Mr. Paxton.

I just watched Club Dread for the first time this past summer. Coconut Pete was hands down one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. The acting of Paxton and the song titles: "I'd tell ya but then I'd have tequila" and "Sea shanties and wet panties" had me in tears. Do you think Eddie Money has to deal with this sh**?!

Really I'm the only one that remembers him in True Lies? My friend has theory that somebody got the casting mixed up. In that Paxton was supposed to play Harry's partner and Tom Arnold was supposed to play the used car salesman. I can sort of see it. But I agree with you. Paxton was great in True Lies

He is a character actor basically. I always like character actors because they are always a good side show to the actual movie. Paxton does a good job in everything he is in. I love him in True Lies. Also he was good in Mighty Joe Young hah

Paxton was great in True Lies I don't know if I buy that. Paxton was sort of perfect for the part, because the guy had to not only play the weasel but also play the cool guy who can pretend to be a secret agent well enough to fool a smart woman. I think it would be a tougher part to cast than it would seem at first.

Bill Paxton has been in almost every James Cameron movie, and I was surprised not to see him in Avatar. However I fully anticipate him to appear in the sequels. He's a James Cameron guy. Definitely underrated.

He's been killed by the Terminator, Aliens and the Predator.
What more could you possibly ask for?
