Its time for Dolph to go solo, even if they still want him jobbing. There really is no point to his entourage is there? They actually make him look worse by failing to get him any victories.
It was tolerable with Vickie because she at the very least was a heat machine, but Big E and AJ aren't on that level. They just take the focus away from Dolph so the cameramen and announcers can talk about how big and strong Langston is or how evil and conniving AJ is.
Plus, I think it would serve Dolph better if he had to get heat on his own, instead of always needed people ringside to cheat for him. I think he could use a bit of work at coming across as an unlikeable person we shouldn't like, instead of just some guy who's kinda cocky.
Its been a few years now, its time to let Dolph free. Let him spread his wings.

Well alone of with a group, Ziggy is never going to get heat on himself if he never beats anybody good.

It's getting to the point where if they don't do something soon with him, he's going to be forever seen as a joke by the general audience. He'll never be able to recover from that.

At least as long as they're going to have him as a heel. "I have a manager/valet/bodyguard who interferes" isn't quite enough.

Every time he loses, every time his entire entourage interferes, I think back to that one Raw where he stormed off on Vickie and Swagger while screaming that he was better than this.
He traded one big-man goon and a girlfriend for a bigger goon and a prettier girlfriend. And nothing has changed. If wrestling fans are privy to logic, it means that Vickie (Managing Supervisor of Raw after Dolph) and Swagger ("main eventing" WrestleMania without needing a briefcase to do so) weren't the problem. Dolph was.

The only logical reason I see the wwe in keeping Team rocket together is that they want both Dolph and AJ to hold their major titles ala Edge and Lita. The problem is of course that either dolph will need at least month of building back up to even get some credibility back.
At this point I do agree that team rocket has runs it's course and it's time to separate them. Just have dolph break up with AJ saying he does not her anymore and say he wants to go on his own for once. Then you just keep AJ and Big E together and you let Dolph sink or swim on his own.

I wish they would split Big E and AJ away from him if only so they would stop getting dragged down along with him.
I mean, I love Ziggler, and I even liked this group's first month or so together when they were feuding with Cena and whatnot, but they haven't been doing anything since then. And WWE obviously doesn't care to book Dolph above his current level. It really isn't helping anyone involved.

He needs to have that moment when he realizes that "showing off" isn't getting him where he wants to be, so he get more focused and goes on a winning streak. It would probably only happen as a face, but there's a lot of faces right now.

It would probably only happen as a face, but there's a lot of faces right now. That's why I'm in favor of an eventual Ryback heel turn. That (and an Orton turn perhaps) would free up a lot of room for a Dolph face run, and I'm confident he could pull it off since he insists on wrestling like a babyface anyway.

Well alone of with a group, Ziggy is never going to get heat on himself if he never beats anybody good. The problem is Ziggler doesn't get to beat ANYONE (aside from the occasional match against Miz or Kofi). While all the other heels get to beat a few jobbers every now and then, Ziggler is rarely afforded this luxury to help pad his win/loss record a bit. I think Ziggler needs to face off against a few enhancement talents so he can get a few more wins. There are a lot of deserving talent who should be on TV a bit more. If you feed someone like Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, or Santino Marella to Dolph, it'll allow them to showcase their talents, and Dolph will get heel heat because the fans think the poor jobber "deserves better".

AJ has lost tons of momentum since being put with Dolph. She's about on the level of the other Divas now. Just another face in an over-crowded roster. And this isn't a big deal, but has anyone else noticed that AJ and Dolph never seem to kiss anymore? Since kissing had been a big part of AJ's gimmick, I wonder what happened?

He's going to cash in and lose, isn't he? I mean the only way he would have a chance was if he were cashing in on Kofi.

They put AJ and then Big E with him, thinking that would be the little bit he needs to get him over the top. Didn't happen. At this point he's a broken record and needs to drop the gimmick. I think he's trying too hard to be the 90's HBK.
The best he can hope for is cashing in and winning to get a couple week title run before losing it back.

All he needs to do is win, Dolph gets beat 2 to 3 times a week on free TV. If AJ and Big E actually helped him win matches he would start getting some heat with the group as is. Any kind of heat he can muster up gets killed off by getting bounced all over the ring and then sprawled out in the middle for a pin or submission every show.

He's 18-39 on TV since he's had the briefcase. That's a win percentage of 31%, or approximately 3 out of every 10 matches.
The surprise is not going to be when he cashes in, but the fact that he actually won the cash-in and the title.

Its 2 months into 2013 and he's beat Kofi on PPV in a match that wasn't even advertised, he beat the The Miz on the beat the clock raw so he could get screwed and enter the Rumble #1 and won a Mix tag match on Smackdown with AJ over The Great Khali and Natalya that AJ picked up the win.
