Me and friend were driving around today when I had to get gas. While we were in the store we saw a motorcylce crash into the back of a semi trailer. We both ran out to check on the guy and he was messed up pretty bad. We made sure to see he wasn't dead and try to talk to him to stay conscious. Paramedics and police showed up a couple minutes later and were talking about getting a helicopter before deciding on the ambulance instead.
I have no idea if the guy is alive or dead now. I'm alright, just shaken up by it and wanting to just talk about it somewhere to feel better. Thanks for the eyes and ears gang.

You did the right thing by talking to the guy and keeping him awake before help could arrive. That might just have saved him right there.
Can't do much else, really. Good to know he might make it though.

That sounds pretty awful. Good job staying with the guy.

You are a good person for checking on him and staying with him. That sounds traumatic as hell. Do whatever you can to relax today, and thanks for being a decent human being.

If it persists, talk to a professional. It is very common for people to need to talk to a counselor after witnessing something traumatic.

Great job staying calm and collected, that may have saved the guy's life.
