As soon, and I mean as soon, as the price on Bless the Beasts & Children drops to around $10 I'm totally gonna order it. It was released on Sony MOD last year. Same goes for another Stanley Kramer work from the era RPM, one of the student protest movies that I haven't seen. Is that like the Warner Archive site? If so, then they probably ain't gonna drop the price, unless there's a HUGE demand for the movie. Then they'll do a full-on commercial release. One Crazy Summer - my favoirte summer movie, has John Cusack, Demi Moore, Joel Murray and Bobcat Goldthwait in it. its pretty damn funny! Loved that show. The scene with Godlthwaite in the Godzilla costume was hilarious. And I still refer to the Cute And Fuzzy Bunnies.

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. I do own it (on vhs, complete with the awesome statue of liberty cover) but havent gotten around to watching it yet (i've also heard good things about the novels the movie was based on, but theyre very hard to find).

If so, then they probably ain't gonna drop the price, unless there's a HUGE demand for the movie. Then they'll do a full-on commercial release. Warner Archive has actually become a lot more open to sales over the past few years, there's always some kinda deal going on though you have to wait them out for the 5 for $45 kinda deal. And things have actually been moving in the opposite direction. The only Archive titles I'm aware to go into commercial release is like some movie that ended up in one of those 4 packs they do, whereas all the time they're adding titles that used to be in their pressed Catalog to the Archive collection, even popular stuff like Victor/Victoria, Get Carter, Gaslight, The Power of One, Demon Seed and Good News. The only place I've really seen have the Sony MODs on sale is DeepDiscount, but you had to buy a certain amount for free shipping and I had trouble picking enough the last time I looked through it during a sale. Last Summer Amazon had a sale on MGM's MODs for about $11 each, s*** was cash, thanks to that I saw the bizarre Boorman film Leo the Last and finally own a DVD of New Year's Evil. Before I would ask myself this question, "Will it be sweet New Year's Eve or do I fear a New Year's EVILLLLLL!?", but now it's been spoken for. The Fox MOD I haven't really seen a sale for anywhere, but you bet when I do I'll pick up Secret World. One of those late 60s/early 70s movies that just makes you shake your head. Though honestly if I'm so interested in seeing the slightly out of reach (that) and wholly out of reach (Believe in Me) Bisset films I ought to be able to actually put in the unwatched Bisset film I do own, The Grasshopper. In any event, we are living in an MOD world and I'm a reluctant MOD girl.

Oh yeah, I remember this. The Statue of Liberty fight scene is epic. Also the old wise master asking Remo incredulously that "you cannot dodge bullet" always cracked me up.

I can feel safe by saying very few people have seen Jimmy The Kid, starring Gary Coleman, Don Adams, Clevon Little, Paul LeMat, Pat Morita, Avery Schreiber, Dee Wallace - practically a Who's Who (copyright Mean Gene Okerlund) in the late-70s. (I'm doing a review of this on that movie page. Because I can...lol.) I've also seen Moving Violations many times. In a completely random revelation moment, I was searching for Julie Brown videos (shush, she's still hilarious), I discovered she sang one of the songs from that movie that's been bugging me for many, many years. (The part where Brian Backer realizes the girl he's hooking up with lied about her age...and her dad just got home.) Who's Harry Crumb? I liked this movie. For some reason, my dad loved it. One Crazy Summer, hilarious, another one of those movies I can flip to and watch from any point until the end. Dream A Little Dream is one of the few movies the Mrs. & I can both enjoy together. (She loves the Coreys, I'm partial to Meredith Salinger in spandex. )

This is definitely a forum where I expect a lot of its members to have seen Remo Williams. Funny-ass movie that still works as an adventure/action story.

I saw that one and it was a lot of fun. Postal. Suprisingly fun for an Uwe Boll movie based on a video game known for being extremely offensive. The first 15 minutes or so are tedious though. I am under the impression I al the only person other than Brad Jones to have seen all the Violent S*** films. First one is tedious and boring as Hell (couldn't believe it barely lasted over an hour), the rest is hilarious, sometimes even intentionally! The second film is especially fun. Another I know I'm not alone in having seen it as I discovered it with friends who picked it up by chance, and Phelous reviewed it, Day of the Dead 2: Contagium. An hilariously bad direct-to-DVD film that actually has nothing to do with Day of the Dead and only got to be named that because the company making it somehow got the rights to Day of the Dead. Basically, it has zombies in it, so they slapped the name on it. I am also convinced I am the only person who actually watched the Saw sequels when I hear the number of "plot holes" people mention about that franchise that really aren't, not to mention the ridiculous accusation that the entire franchise is nothing but gore (it only becomes true by the fifth movie ). Oh and August Underground: Penance. If anyone has so much as heard about this trilogy, they usually heard about Mordum, and Penance seems to be the least known one in an already very obscure trilogy. None of them is worth watching BTW. You know, all this talk about movies no one has watched before has got me thinking. We have a FAN film club thread on here that, more or less, dried up because Bob and I were basically the only one's hosting. So, how about it? Anybody want to join up and present movies? What exactly would the presentations entail?

I find it odd people would compain about plot holes in Saw when those movies develop such a labyrinth of continuities as the sequels progress. One of the most rewarding franchises to watch in one sitting.

Has anyone else here seen Amazing Grace and Chuck?
I barely remember seeing it in my childhood, and for a long time was convinced that it didn't exist.

Haven't thought about that movie in years, definitely underappreciated. Had Jamie Lee Curtis and b-ball star Alex English. Others: Fear of a Black Hat-I know others that have seen it but not many Digby, The Biggest Dog in the World Infra-Man Slithis

What exactly would the presentations entail? Members would schedule a week where they host the film in a thread. By Saturday of the preceding week or early in the week of presentation, they would create a thread about the film, giving background information, asking questions and talking about the film's elements that they found interesting to discuss, maybe add links and images. The presenter should lead discussion but it's very casual. The film can be of any genre, time period, etc. but it would help if it's readily available, a mistake I've made when I've hosted a few times. The link's in my sig.

Oh, so many.
Oh, What A Night starring Corey Haim was a guilty pleasure of mine after catching it on HBO one time.
My Life with Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman. No one talks about this movie and it's a damn good one.
Think Big. Horrible movie from the 80s that has Tiny Lister in a cameo. But, in my sick twisted way, I kind of enjoyed it. Plus the girl in it was kinda cute to the high school me.
