RIP Paul. You'll be missed. Definitely sad especially considering how great of a guy he seemed to be. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him.

Paul Bearer was a favorite of mine, and I'm happy he had the career and run he did. That heel turn at SummerSlam 1996 is one of the few swerves that totally caught me off-guard. I will miss him. i just heard, and damn for some reason this is a hard one for me to digest RIP man Also, don't leave again.

Looking on Twitter and websites, it's understandable to see such a focus on Paul Bearer's memorable association with The Undertaker. Let's not forget about Paul's other major association: Kane. The Undertaker-Paul Bearer-Kane saga is one of the most memorable story arcs in WWE history.

He will not grow old, like we, who are left grow old...Age shall not weary him, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember him. Good bye old buddy.

The Undertaker-Paul Bearer-Kane saga is one of the most memorable story arcs in WWE history. Maybe not as deeply as Kane and Taker, but Foley and Vader too. Man... suddenly the song "You Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone)" is my head. Only personally saw Bearer once at Mania 7, but what a legacy he leaves, working with some of the biggest names in wrestling history and arguably the greatest gimmick manager of all time, one that just clicked. Thoughts and prayers with his family, he will most assuredly be missed. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yesssssssssssssssssssssss.

Searching for Bearer pics to see some of the memorable pairings, I saw this image, which totally looks like Bearer managing Abyss: Bearer and Abyss would have been a trip.

The first year plus of the Undertaker/Kane feud is my favourite angle in wrestling, and probably one of the most complex angles in wrestling history. - The Undertaker debuts. - Is soon managed by Paul Bearer. - The Undertaker with Paul Bearer dominates the WWF for 5+ years. - Paul Bearer turns on the Undertaker to manage Mankind, the Undertaker's then-fiercest foe. - Paul Bearer manages Vader, who also crosses paths with the Undertaker. - Mankind burns the Undertaker's face during the build-up to the Undertaker's first feud post-Wrestlemania 13 title win. - The Undertaker gets revenge by burning Paul Bearer's face. - Paul Bearer comes back during the summer and blackmails the Undertaker to work for him lest he reveal a tragic family secret. - The Undertaker snaps, Paul Bearer reveals that the Undertaker killed his parents by starting a fire. - Paul Bearer reveals that he knows the Undertaker because Kane, the Undertaker's long lost brother, told him so. - Paul Bearer torments the Undertaker while he's feuding with Shawn Michaels. - Kane debuts at Badd Blood and costs the Undertaker a chance to win a title shot at the Survivor Series. - Kane destroys the WWF roster while the Undertaker refuses to fight his brother. - Kane and Paul Bearer set up the Undertaker by making it seem that Kane's seen the light, only to lock the Undertaker in a casket and then setting the casket on fire. - The Undertaker and Kane feud through the spring months. - The Undertaker and Kane reconcile come the summer. Paul Bearer disappears for awhile. - The Undertaker turns on Kane, rejoins Paul Bearer, forms the Ministry of Darkness. - The Undertaker and Steve Austin feud. Kane helps Austin. Kane and Austin throw Paul Bearer down a sewer. I seriously love the history of that angle that for me was paid off for 18 months. Paul Bearer was a huge, huge part of all that. I'm so saddened by this news. Rest in peace, brother Paul.

Amazing manager, and from all reports a super nice guy. There was someone on here who told a really great story years ago about their grandmother passing, and Moody's funeral home doing the arrangements, and mentioning how it was kind of comforting that Paul Bearer was overseeing the funeral. Absolutely agree there'll be a tribute Monday. Maybe Undertaker saluting an Urn in the middle of the ring before picking it up and leaving with it? As far as Punk using it for cheap heat? Who knows. I imagine Paul would have been okay with it, so it really just depends on if Punk and Undertaker are okay with doing so. I think I would be just as pissed as I was when Cole brought up Jerry's dead mother and when Punk made fun of Jerry for having a heart attack. I think I would do the same hashtag too if that happened. I honestly don't think Taker (and probably Kane) would allow that to happen. I could see them both quitting and leaving the WWE hanging during WM season if they even tried.

This one is really hitting home for me. I wasn't friends with him, really, but he had been a mentor/father figure/elder statesman to the NWA Hollywood crew. A lot of friends are taking this really hard, especially Johnny Yuma, who was particularly close with him.
I feel I should share this, though. About a year ago, before one of the NWA tapings, all the wrestlers are listening to management talking about the shows ratings. Everyone is quiet, listening intently, until they reveal that the highest rated demo was 50-up or whatever. At that point, Paul/Percy just bellows out: "WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH THAT?!?!?!?!" Everybody proceeds to laugh their ass off.
That's the Paul Bearer/Percy Pringle/William Moody I will remember. RIP.

Along the same at as Electic Mayhem, a lot of people might not know, but he was still involved with wrestling through NWA Hollywood/Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. I know he was just here a month ago for a taping.
Prayers to his sons and family.
