From ESPN's Not Top 10 series, guess what's still the "Worst of the Worst" for 14 consecutive weeks (and counting):

Citing "several NFL sources," the hangup in Victor Cruz's contract talks with the Giants is that Cruz wants to be paid like a No. 1 receiver.

Didn't see the new thread so I'll repost.
Word has it that the 49ers are very close to finalizing a deal with Ed Reed.
If this happens, I see the Niners being even better than they have the past two years and I wholeheartedly approve of that!

Well, if you can't beat 'em, take their players.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but with the way they already are, and factoring in these huge FA moves, the Niners are going back to the Super Bowl.

I still think the Seahawks will give them, and everybody else, trouble, but I don't see how they can't go back, based off these moves alone. Also, LOLRavens.

Not trying to be a Homer, but i honestly don't see Seattle surprising people again this year. Harvin is not as good as people make him out to be plus he's injury prone with the migrane issues. Plus both coordinators are gone, Sherman is basically begging teams to pick on him in games, and we all know Pete Carrolls track record. They won't do what they did last year.

Now Harbaugh with the game on the line with a 1st and goal series at about the 7, don't be afraid to call a rollout for Kaepernick.

Calling it now: the 49ers are the 2013 season Super Bowl champions. Everyone else go home, thanks for stopping by. Pick up a commemorative Geno Smith and Manti Te'o on your way out.

If the people that wrote the old Sports Hall of Shame book series decide to write a new Football Hall of Shame, the buttfumble should be in there.

Harvin was getting MVP buzz last year before he went down. And since he's not on a shit team this year, he won't be asked to do returns full time, be the only receiving target, and play runningback a couple times a game, which is the main reason he got injured last year.

They were 10-6, 5-1 in one score games, barely scraped into the playoffs and were thoroughly pounded once they got there. And the only reason all of this happened is because Adrian Peterson had the best season a runningback has ever had. So yes, a playoff team was a shit team. The Seahawks made the playoffs after going 7-9 one year, they were still a shit team.
