Sure he got tossed across the room by Kane, but it's something.
Even though I hate that he's been reduced to jobberdom, I have to admit, A-Ry really takes his ass kickings like a boss.
If Kane ever "feels like he's not a monster anymore", I wouldn't mind seeing an extended program where he murders A-Ry every week.

Alex Riley is the king of these backstage segments. From still owing Punk money to him and Yoshi laughing at big show's expense to now him being Bo's guy, he is certainly found a niche as the go to backstage beating jobber.

But I do think the guy needs to be in the ring a little more too though. Maybe he gets booked in a match against Kane next week, the fans are all cheering because A-Ry gets to wrestle a match on RAW, and Kane just destroys him because he's still pissed off at Punk and/or angry at Bryan about something. He's fine as a jobber, but seriously needs more TV time and matches.

At least Riley doesn't really have the jobber stigma on him and his credibility can be rebuilt pretty quickly while Drew has no shred of credibility and needs to be taken off of TV for a while if they want to give him a push. So while Riley's is not in a great spot now, I think he be pretty easy to re-build.

So while Riley's is not in a great spot now, I think he be pretty easy to re-build. I wouldn't write Drew off so quickly, but I do agree that Riley is easy to rebuild. All he needs is a solid match (win or lose) with the right opponent. His athletic ability and his skill set in the ring makes him somewhat more credible than some of the guys who actually do get some TV time . They just need to stop having him lose to the NXT guys without any type of vehicle to redeem himself (if he loses on NXT, he needs to be booked to win or to lose spectacularly against someone "important" on one of the other shows.). I think putting over the developmental talent, or tbh actually wrestling on NXT and being presented as "one of the boys" there to begin with, really damages him.

And he was shirtless too. I knew there'd be a thread about this.
Riley is one, among a lot of guys, who would benefit from an even slightly stricter brand split. With so many talented people showing up to job, Cesaro now as well, I honestly don't know when the lowercard will get their due.

What's worse is that it seems like WWE has no intention to push these guys but continue to bring in and call up new faces to push ahead of them at their expense.

Um... there's no such thing as Alex Riley. He's a myth. Like Bigfoot, Rex Reed, or 2.

Just looked at the spoilers for this week, and it saddens me that he doesn't even get a match for Superstars, Main Event, or Saturday Morning Slam these days. What exactly are they doing with this guy?

The best part about it was all Kane had to do was thrown him over a table and he was down and out needing medical attention.
...yet hes had 15 minutes matches with Miz where they beat the snot out of each other.
The backstage area: weakness zone for all wrestlers

The backstage area: weakness zone for all wrestlers I want Miz and A-Ry to renew their friendship after WrestleMania. Like after Team Hell No breaks up, Kane sees them hanging out backstage, and starts beating them up every week, going on this new tirade about how "Friendship sucks". He says that he's tired of their "PDA", and that if he can't have a healthy and proper friendship, no one can.
