Even as a fan, I'd have to say I hope he's done. I want to see others get opportunities and I don't think that will ever happen as long as the old guard are around.
With this RAW SuperShow nonsense, there are way too many talents not getting their due. So unless WWE learns to manage their time a little better, I'd rather Jericho be gone to free up a spot.

I take Jericho over half the roster.

I know that there is worse talent taking spots, but some of those "worse" guys aren't going anywhere any time soon (i.e. Khali), and Jericho works a sporadic schedule anyway. I want Jericho to stay IF it meant WWE could manage their time better and make better use of more of their roster. Otherwise I feel that not having their safe choices on call would force them to give others opportunities.

I always hate that he shows up just in time for WrestleMania season under the guise of putting somebody over.

how do you write him off this time?

how do you write him off this time? Just let him quietly disappear. Maybe Fozzy can be the musical performance for Mania. It knocks the musical guest out of the way, and at least then the time is going towards an actual wrestling personality rather than being some lame attempt to be hip/mainstream. 3MB comes out after the set, bashes Jericho's performance. The three of them gang up on Jericho. Two random low card faces run out to Jericho's aid and chase them off. The two faces start a Y2J chant and Jericho walks off into the sunset.

I listened to his interview with Konnan last week and in it he mentioned how short his contract was this time around(would end around WM).

how do you write him off this time? It's a running joke by this point. I wouldn't even mind if he discovered Hornswoggle's portal and got lost in it or something. I love Jericho, but this has by far been my least favorite run he's been a part of since 2000.

Don't worry he'll be back in time for WM30 when he will put over Bo Dallas in the opening bout, then put over the new monster heel of the year, "Venomous Rat" Conor O'Brian who hits him with the Mouse Trap.

If he was out there winning people would complain not putting anybody over. So it's funny to me that the one big star that does put someone over, people complain about it for doing so and having a good match. I don't get why that's a problem. Then we got ok, WWE can't manage time. So if Jericho leaves that gives us more time for "Some Low carder" is what pretty much said. Being the rest of the roster would get more time. Even if Jericho is out there PUTTING guys over. Which is what people wanted the big star veterans to do. He doing that and yet people still act like he "taking" time away from someone and is like World Champion. Knowing the WWE when Jericho does leaves nobody new is going to have this break out stop for the next half of the year because Jericho is not there. Unless they call out Kassius Ohno but current roster I don't see anything changing.

Unless they call out Kassius Ohno but current roster I don't see anything changing. This, exactly. I feel there is nothing to complain about with Jericho, and I am not saying just saying that due to being a mark of his. He is on a part time basis so even the people who dislike him don't get to see him on a regular schedule. He will more than likely be in one of the midcard matches at Mania, and he hasn't demanded being in the main event or even in the WHC match so there should be no complaint there either. And finally I don't think anyone that is in the same HOF/veteran level that he is at has put over more people than him (arguably Rock but before stage of his career) and put over them well, which is nothing but a credit to him. Plus look at all the matches he had since coming back: -Awesome Rumble performance 40 minutes - vs Punk - vs Bryan - vs Shield All being somewhere from good to great to excellent, at least in my opinion. You need a guy that reliable around and I hope that he puts over Cesaro at Mania instead of the match he is currently rumored to be in.

Jericho has added nothing of any real value for a while now. I love the guy and he still has good matches but he's just showing up for paychecks anymore, not that I blame him.

He's the only guy of his stature that would ever put over Dolph Ziggler. Hell, he put over HEATH SLATER clean as a sheet. Jericho's one of the good ones. Bad promo Monday aside, his presence is always welcome.

The guy puts to much into his matches to be "collecting" paychecks. The guy trained like a beast each time to returned. His matches are far to good to be "collecting" paycheck when he likely has plenty to retire and live a good life. You compare him to other big star/legends. I say no. He doesn't have to wrestle. If he did he be all year. if he was about money.

He's one of the few "old guard" who's actively doing programs with and putting over new guys. How exactly is Jericho taking opportunities? I actually love that JEricho isn't put on a pedestal whenever he's around. My issue is not so much with Jericho himself as much as it is WWE's pattern of "needing" to pigeonhole every "important" person onto every RAW/PPV just because with little regard to anything else. Whenever Jericho comes around, it's just another person added to the "inner circle" that eats up a huge chunk of TV time on both RAW and SmackDown. WWE is stuck with another wrestler that they have to scramble to find a program for. Jericho, through no fault of his own, only adds to the "only main eventers matter" problem. And I'm a bit underwhelmed by this particular run of his because he hasn't done much of note. Had Jericho not been in the Rumble or the Chamber, I would've liked to see someone get those same Cinderella Moments similar to the ones that Santino got in the 2011 Rumble and the SD chamber last year. I love that Jericho tries to put people over, but sometimes it feels a bit hollow because Jericho is only putting over the people that WWE were going to push (or in Ziggler's case pretend to push) anyway. I'd love it if a guy with Jericho's prestige would actually stand up for the boys and tell WWE management that some of the more underutilized talents deserve a shot to be more than just warm bodies or punching bags and to push for better time management. There are a lot of guys who deserve to be over, credible, and relevant, and I feel like WWE keeps bringing back the old talent to try in order to delay or avoid having to actually do something with them. Jericho does what he can, but in the end, he's only putting over the guys that WWE were already pushing anyway. If Jericho weren't around, ideally, a guy like Wade Barrett or Dolph Ziggler could occupy themselves by being the ones doing the putting over instead. Not by losing to their opponents, but by beating them in competitive matches. They could rack up a steady string of victories instead of losing to everyone. And the lesser guy looks good by being able to hang with someone "important" even if they lose

I'd have him put someone over personally. Give him a match with a member of Shield and have the Shield member win legit and let that be it for him for a while after they destroy him once it's over.
