Too difficult. I will say that interview skills put Bret, Sting, Owen, Booker, and Angle in the bottom five. They're all somewhere between tolerable and abysmal.

5. Kurt Angle 12. Randy Savage 10. Chris Jericho 9. C.M. Punk 3. Steve Austin 2. Shawn Michaels 8. The Rock 6. Ric Flair 7. Daniel Bryan (barely edges out Hart) 1. Bret Hart 14. Eddie Guerrero 17. Jake Roberts 16. Edge 11. Triple H 19. Booker T 18. Sting 4. Undertaker 15. Mr. Perfect (mic skills were never his strong point) 13. Scott Hall 20. Owen Hart (see Perfect)
It's not really fair to include both mic skills AND wrestling, since I think that mic skills are 60%+ the reason certain guys are over. So it gets guys like Rock an advantage to guys like Bret Hart, who was clearly the better wrestler. It's better to list guys in two lists, then subtract the weaknesses from the strong points and go from there, that's how I got my results.

Where to people get the idea that Bret Hart is abysmal on the mic? Ken Shamrock is abysmal. Nobody on that list is.

I think it's more than fair to rank Bret low in the mic department compared to most of the people on the list. That doesn't make him bad, it just shows how much better most involved are. I'd certainly rank him above Perfect, Owen, Sting, Undertaker and Scott Hall. He's on par with Bryan where he can get his point across, but it's very straightforward. Nothing wrong with that, and nothing to get upset over either.

I like Taker & Austin more, but I really think Kurt is better when it comes to in ring work. Kurt is right at the very top in my opinion.

1 - Kurt Angle
Everyone else follows.
Edge/Booker T/Owen Hart are 18/19/20 though, compared to the rest of the list they don't compare at all.

Very difficult to do. I have always said Shawn Michaels was the best in ring of all time, Stone Cold Steve Austin was the best overall character, the Rock was the best on the mic. All you have listed are good, just trying to list them in any kind of order becomes very difficult.

Any list with Randy Savage on should have Randy Savage either at the top or number two.

I think that Kurt Angle is incredible physically, but his weakness is in the psychology department. He's gotta be able to go go go and have someone that can keep up, otherwise the match just doesn't click.
Not sure if you saw his match with Wes Brisco on the TNA PPV last Sunday, but I couldn't help thinking that guys like Bret Hart and Daniel Bryan could've carried such a green opponent to a great match, whereas Angle just had a basic, sloppy brawl with him and then tried to make it awesome by doing a sloppy German off the cage. He's a work harder, not smarter type of wrestler, and I just don't love his style, though he's certainly had a lot of incredible matches.
