It's more because the first match wasn't that good. If it lived to the hype like Rock and Hogan did. Or tore the roof of the place like any of the matches HBK had with Taker. OK there reasons why we want to see them again. If Rock and Cena was remotely a match so good worth another match at WM then fine. With Rock and Austin it's great because there matches where amazing. Now if this match was on any other PPV I'll be fine with it. But I don't think the rematch is worthy of another WM ME. Just like I don't feel Lensar and HHH don't belong on WM. Summer Slam wasn't incredible enough to say we need this at WM. Because there no real must see to it. That's the problem. Is ok rematch is find but being at WM is not. But there wasn't a roof to tear off! And yeah, I think the difference in crowd reactions was due more to the acoustics of that building. The people were definitely cheering for Rock.

I only wanted to see it once. I just wanted Cena to win at WM 28 and the whole year feud be over with. It made all the sense in the world for the WWE to book Cena over Rock, given that they did the same thing a decade ago and had Rock go over Hogan.
But, since Rock won, it makes all the sense in the world for them to do a rematch because there is no way in hell they're going to have their top face lose and that be it. This whole storyline is all geared towards a Cena victory and I'm perfectly fine with that. He should have won last year, and he should win this year.
And I just shudder at the thought of Rock winning again. It'll be as ass-backwards booking as you can get.

I haven't wanted to see Rock since 2002.. The match was a GNR Chinese Democracy letdown last year. Funny you should say that, enjoyed the hell out of the match last year(tho dont really wanna see it again) and I also enjoyed Chinese Democracy(though it isnt a GNR album to me)

I dont wanna see the match again, I didnt watch it last year either. Not because I hated the idea last year, I think it was the right main event. Just like its the right main event this year. This will be the highest selling mania of all time and its all about the money that freaking simple.

The WWE's oversimplified the formula of what creates the most buys.

The WWE's oversimplified the formula of what creates the most buys. Two of the three ME matches are rematches from the last year. SummerSlam and WM. So I doubt it out sell last year. HHH vs. Brock as nothing of a point that makes it must see. Cena and Rock just again a rematch only adding a belt. And last year wasn't that great of a match. Why would this one be so much better?

I didn't really want the first one but I sure as hell don't wan't to see it again. As far as I'm concerned it's a heel V heel match, I can't support either guy. Rock turned his back on wrestling to go to Hollywood (fair play - it's a good move for him but not for wrestling) and Cenas gimmick is SO stale. Also, I know people do want to see it but I've been looking for an excuse to post this:

I don't mind the rematch per se, but so far this rematch just sucks hard.
Rock seemed to be around a lot more for the first one. And they traded some decent insults towards each other.
This, well, I don't know what's going on. Something about Cena feeling crappy about losing the first one and now he really can't lose for the second one. Yawn.

Yes. Rock vs Cena the first time really was a dream match, and an unpredictable one at that since the title wasn't involved, but the more times you have them wrestle the less special the match becomes. The fact that WWE promoted it as Once In A Lifetime doesn't help either. The bottom line is WWE knew they'd sell out 'Mania in New York no matter what they gave us, so they gave us predictable rematches and a thrown together undercard. They'll give us a "real" 'Mania again next year for the big 30th anniversary.
