Don't get me wrong, I love watching the induction every year and get excited for certain names to be put in. But at the end of the day, the HOF is really just a list on the internet. Am I alone in thinking that the HOF really isn't seen as all that serious by the casual fans? Do you think they're will ever be a physical building?

I've always thought the physical building is not a matter of if, but when. It may take a while, but knowing WWE, when it does happen, it will have some incredible exhibits along with the tributes to the individual inductees.

I was kinda hoping WWE was gonna buy Hart house for the HOF building. But I have a feeling if/when they do get a building, it will either be in New York or Connecticut.

I think it's just a fun thing to do right before Wrestlemania. If I'm into the WM card, it's a given I'm going to check out the HOF and sort keep the party rolling into Sunday night. If not skip both, watch them another time.

I can't say that I take it too seriously, but I do love watching past greats get some recognition and a little time in the spotlight.

it means more than the actual Hall of Fame IMO.

I think it's a nice touch for former wrestlers to get one last thank you from WWE and the fans and to cap off their career.

I wonder how well it'll stand up in years to come. To be honest I find it a bit embarrassing crowds take in their 'current' reactions in there and boo and cheer different names/faces when said or shown during speeches. I kind of thing that kayfabe should be checked at the door as it's an event to pay homage to past greats, not really part of the ongoing television narrative.
I suspect a few will look back in years to come and find some of the crowd noises a little disrespectful and unbefitting of the ceremony.

I think there are too many big name inductions each year. I think there should be one main one and a few smaller ones. In a few years they'll have run out of the really big stars to include. As it is there's only Savage and Warrior left who were mega-superstars of the bygone era left, isn't there?

In all honesty I don't care about the building. They anyways exhibit their "HOf worty" stuff at every Fan Axxess before the Big 4 PPV's. I like that approach better than to have a building placed in xx, yy. For example I'm a huge MLB fan, but there's no way that I'll take a trip just to see their HoF.

Therein lies my problem with the MLB HOF but that's a very complex debate for another day. (To not leave you in the dark I don't think it's fair for writers to discriminate against achievements of "steroid era" players when a) steroids were widespread and we don't know EVERYONE who was on them (i.e. juiced Bonds hit a ton of HRs off of juicing pitchers, so it kinda cancels out imo) and b) the steroid era is held against players from the late 80s through 2003, when players in the 60s-70s and early 80s were using them too, but no one wants to think about that for fear that they might find that Hank Aaron or Nolan Ryan was on the juice)

The ceremony has always been fun to watch but it would take a real die hard fan to want to travel across the country to just see a physical hall of fame structure. Especially when you can learn all there is to know about the inductees off the internet. The internet has just changed the game when it comes to physical hall of fame's. I can see Killer Kowalski's boots just fine from the comfort of my living room. Or order some book about his career off amazon.
When it comes to a physical hall of fame for WWE, they have had several factors to consider. They have to make it bigger and better than that corner store looking pro wrestling hall of fame in western New York. They have to make it self sustainable or profitable while being bigger and better. They need enough wrestlers inducted or attractions to make the visit worth it to fans. They need the best location to ensure it survives long after they stop inducting people. They need exhibits which require contacting bitter ex wrestlers about donating memorabilia that they haven't already donated to that place in western New York.
Also does anybody really want the ceremonies to stop happening during WrestleMania weekend? Because if they built a physical Hall of Fame and held the ceremonies there or near there, it couldn't happen the night before WrestleMania.

Moreso than it should, yes. I like seeing deserving people in the wrestling industry be honored for career accomplishments. Listen to the Iron Sheik's induction again and tell me whether or not the HoF matters.

I used to care more about it than I do now. With some of their recent inductions, it has morphed into a pretty big joke.

One of the things I really like about Raw X is how much it is a time capsule of what fans were feeling at the time.
