Update: Mark Henry worked Sunday night's house show, and some were reported it wasn't as bad as it seems from Saturday's, so looks like he's good to go for WM against Ryback, he just needs to be careful.

What will Ryback do now? They already stupidly took him out of the Shield angle. If Henry can't work Mania, then Ryback has nothing.
I've loved Henry's work ever 2004, but I think it might've been a mistake to rush him back and try to pigeonhole him into Mania. Now everything might be a bigger clusterf*** than it already was.

I was at the show. I wouldn't overreact yet; it may not be that bad. They still did a postmatch choke slam and Henry walked out, so it may not be a huge deal.

They could either push someone else to get into the Shield match, or they could rearrange the plans a bit. Move Miz into the six-man and have someone else challenge Barrett, or insert Jericho and push a midcarder to wrestle Fandango. |

My post isn't so much about him or any other particular wrestler, so much as it is working around the possibility that Henry might not be able to work at Mania. And I'm glad to hear that you'd do the same for Christian. I was honestly (and I hope you don't take this the wrong way either) under the impression that you didn't like anyone, based on your posts related to the likes of Miz, Ziggler, Del Rio, Swagger, etc.. I just would like WWE to possibly spin this negative into a positive and salvage the show, because Henry's injury could potentially turn WM into a bigger clusterf*** than it already is. They've already jerked Ryback around enough and this match with Henry was probably the one thing that could save him. |
