Can somebody jog my memory of what the name was of a monster truck show that came on in the mid 90's. I'm sure it was syndicated. Here in Memphis it came on Saturday mornings after WWF Challenge. I've never been a fan of monster trucks or anything, but I would watch it because they had characters representing each monster truck that would cut wrestling styled promos on each other standing in front of a green screen with the truck's logo behind them. I know Grave Digger was one and I think that was woman that turned into a panther or something. I always thought it was called Monster Jam, but all I can find is a TV show called that from the 2000's, and this would have been around 1994-95.
I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about. I was just wanting to find some of those promos on Youtube and can't find any.

Looked it up on Wikipedia... does "Monster Wars" sound familiar? Yes that's it! Thanks! Its funny how time changes perception because I honestly thought that the Gravedigger mascot was cool and scary looking and then after looking at it on Youtube I see that it is just a cheesy fake Skeletor costume. Honestly if more sports that I didn't care about had their mascots cut wrestling promos on each other I would probably have watched them too back then.

Is this the show where I was introduced to Colt Cobra, driver of Snake Bite? I think that was the regular Monster Truck racing show, Trucks and Tractor Power.

That was on TNN, right? Between wrestling and all this cheesy monster truck talk, my childhood memories are flooding back.

I miss the days of trucks being independently owned and operated, and you had trucks that had better names instead of having these goofy ass bodies on them now. And I miss the real racing and points standings, instead of the crap they do now.
One of my favorite independent trucks. I miss Casper.

I remember this. I think after a victory, one mascot had the helmet of the other in his hands as some type of trophy.
I wonder if any of these guys went to some success in pro wrestling.
