Anybody a fan of these guys here? I saw them last night on the "Right Back At It Again" tour with Of Mice & Men and Chunk! No Captain Chunk! and it was a great time, as always (this was my 7th or 8th time seeing them).
Something cool that they're doing this tour was offering VIP packages limited to 100 each show (and sold out very quickly). Considering that it was $60 with no fees and a normal ticket was $30 plus fees, it was a Hell of a bargain as it came with early admission, a meet & greet with the band, and t-shirt. Also, as an extra surprise they played a song recorded for their upcoming album that doesn't even have a release date yet.
During the meet & greet, I mentioned how awesome it was to see them sell out a big concert venue like the one they were in (holds a few thousand people) when I remember going to see them at a crappy little skate park with no more than 150 people there. They also loved the Snapcase shirt I was rocking. Well, when we were inside waiting for the show to start, the assistant tour manager came over and asked me if I'd come with her and some other people for a little while. Turns out that the band picks a few people from each meet and greet who stand out to them to come to the dressing room, hang out, hear even more new songs (which aren't even mixed yet), and chat. It was seriously incredible, hearing like 6 new tracks (including the album closer which we were told nobody outside that room had heard before and Jeremy seemed hesitant to play). We were down there for like 45 minutes and I joked that it was turning into a group therapy session. It was without a shadow of a doubt one of the most amazing things to ever happen to me at a concert.
