I'm watching Impact from this week since I haven't had hardly any time to, and, while I love the new stage with the huge screen, they REALLY need to step up their entrance videos. I mean, from what I'm seeing, they're 5 seconds long and on loop. I think they should keep the stage setup as that looks great, but the entrance videos are definitely not a sight to behold.

I can't say I remember a point in time when TNA had actual entrance videos in the same vein of WWE. Maybe just the logos of the wrestlers, but that's about it.

Once they stopped using bits from the video game as entrance music, they switched to the current style, rather than switching back to the trons. and I prefer this style, it makes it look more like an extension of the gimmick, rather than "oh here's some filps and stuff AJ did 4 years ago

Yeah, I really don't get much enjoyment out of the entrance videos that are basically the norm these days, so I'm fine with TNA disregarding them.
That being said, apparently TNA really doesn't use the giant screens for anything else, not even to show the TV feed of the matches or even backstage segments...in which case, I question why they have the big screen at all, outside of "we need it or new viewers will instantly think we're minor league."

I think they use the screen for backstage stuff on the live show, just not on the taped one's.

It's much better than it used to be. At one time, pretty much all of AJ's entrance video was a crookedly-placed logo that looked horrible.

I liked the British Invasion's London Underground-themed tron. Looked quite classy.

I'm glad they do less of video screen showing various wrestlers jogging in place in slow motion. I think it's one of the main reasons I don't like AJ Styles, I can only think of him as having this blue tint on him looking sassily into the camera and jogging in slo-mo.
