I saw the headline on comcast and my first thought was that this had to take place in China. I've read about MASSIVE traffic jams over there. Surprised this happened in Virginia.

I was just over that part of the area a little over a month ago when I went to Charlotte. It gets very foggy there at all parts of the day so sadly,I'm not shocked by this. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who lost loved ones or was injured in this.

I read it as "95 car pile up in Vagina" and wondered how that would work

Sorry, I was being a dick. If I didn't want to see comments I should not have clicked on the link. Carry on. No I thought the same thing. This is where I'm from. The pile up in Edmonton was awful. And so was this one. Loss of human life shouldn't be a contest. I'll pray for the families of both rather then be smarmy.

Whenever I hear about a way-too-many car pileup, I always think of this - the only funny part of BLUES BROTHERS 2000:

And that wasn't even the biggest car pile up this winter season...that was probably not even in the top 5 of the past ten years. And that was only one section of Edmonton there was like 230 car accidents that day! To be fair most of those car drivers in Highway 2 were probably Calgarians leaving from Edmonton

To be fair most of those car drivers in Highway 2 were probably Calgarians leaving from Edmonton Or a whole lot of people realizing that they were living in Edmonton all at once and trying to desperately get the hell out of there, weather be damned. But seriously, I'm told Edmonton is a great place; my dad spent several years living there, and I haven't been there at an age where I can remember anything. And really, I didn't even link it just to be all "hurr hurr, cars go crash" or whatever the **** people think I was doing; I was pointing out that something similar had happened relatively recently here in Alberta while being a bit of a smart ass about it.

Edmonton has horrible drivers. It's the thing Edmontonians complain most about. Even more then the weather or the Edmonton Oilers. Honestly Alberta in general has shitty drivers. The only big town/city in Alberta that seemed to have okay drivers was Lethbridge. I almost Never saw a accident in Lethbridge its amazing. I haven't been to Medicine Hat in years so I can't comment. Calgary and Edmonton are both wonderful cities with the good outweighing the bed and uniquelu different pro's and con's of each city.
