Because ending Raw on what isn't the main event and not having Cena and Rock say...anything important just seemed ridiculous to me.

They haven't tried or put any effort in for this build at all. It's like they want us to think it's a placeholder Mania for 30. I have never seen a Mania build be so unimaginative, lazy, rushed, put into a short amount of weeks (when they didn't need to and they had a choice not to). I was going to go to it this year as well for the first time but I am happy that I am going to go to 30 instead.

You give them an extra hour and they STILL can't build an undercard or generate enough interest for the main event of their biggest show of the year. They're amazing

I'd say this was a WM build seemingly designed by an EWR game, but even Extreme Warfare Revenge allows more interesting hype than this.

I was excited for last year's Wrestlemania, this one is full of matches we've already seen.

Here is a really simple idea for what they could have done for Cena/Rock:
- Have Cena open the show, he is all smiles and salutes. He picks up a microphone and starts his classic Cena spiel about getting hyped for Mania before saying "like I said, I can't lose". Cena pauses and looks away and then repeats "I just can't lose". He drops the microphone, stares at the sign and walks out of the ring to surprised boo's.
-Matt Striker is interviewing, say, Ryder and Santino. He asked them if they think Cena can win. Ryder and Santino start making jokes, Cena over-hears and ends up AA'ing Santino through a nearby catering table whilst Ryder looks shocked and runs off.
-The Rock comes out, he starts his spiel about coming back to DC blah- Cenas music cuts him off. -The Rock starts off all "And here he comes Mr Fruity Pebble himself -" then Cena charges and takes him down and locks in the STFU. -Rock semi-passes out. -Cena holds up the new WWE belt and picks up a microphone "Rock. I can't and I won't lose." and drops it and the title.
Just SOMETHING, anything to get them anyway from microphones and mindless/endless promos about stuff we've heard them say the last 2 years and instead into new action to compliment the new direction of the story that is Cena being desperate to win.

I don't understand where the intrigue for who wins at WrestleMania comes in, to be honest. Undertaker said even if he lost, he's going to murder Punk, Cena's been champion 12 times and already lost to Rock last year, and HHH barely wrestles as it is. I just... don't see the draw, aside from match quality.

I was excited for last year's Wrestlemania, this one is full of matches we've already seen. I have a theory that they realized that the tickets were nearly sold out to begin with and already broke a million very early on, that they decided to put absolutely no effort in because of that. This should have been the Christmas season of wrestling fans and it hasn't felt like it this year in any way, shape or form. Don't get me wrong, I am ordering it, having a few mates over and having a drunken pizza filled party for it and I will probably enjoy it a lot more with a few beers. But the fact I couldn't get into my favorite time of year is telling. I also fear the WM marathon I have got planned for before the party starts I am going to enjoy more than WM29. At least this is why alcohol was invented to help me get into the show a bit more but they have made it so hard for me to care this year, and I feel ashamed of saying that as a self proclaimed hardcore fan.

I do like that they have had different feuds ending shows the last few weeks to give a little extra hype to them like they gave the 6 man match last week on SD. The matches are still bleh but they are giving some of them a little extra time to be hyped

That Cena promo should of closed the show. It planted more seeds in a possible Cena heel turn. Like those facial expressions, the tone, and barely acknowledging the crowd was the most heelish things I seen Cena do in 8 years other then f***ing Rey Mysterio out of his title in a day
