I'll get to the point. There are two possible scenerios that we could expect. 1: Edge actually cashes in and wrestles for the title at Wrestlemania (appropriate since there's no other storyline to prove otherwise). Whether or not he wins is up for debate. Bottom line, he cashes in. 2: It was Eric Bischoff who came up with the intitial idea for Money in the Bank. Now that he's fired, they can void the MitB and act like nothing ever happened.

The second one! LOL Actually, I think he'll use it at 'Mania, after the main event. I'm predicting that Cena retains against whomever, but gets badly beaten during the match. Afterwards, Edge comes out, hits Cena with the briefcase, announces he's cashing his Money in the Bank, Spears & pins Cena. 'Mania IX finish 2006! ;D

I was thinking if they wanted to go back to the "Undisputed Title" days they could have WWE Champion vs World Champion vs Royal Rumble Winner at Wrestlemania. But once that's booked Edge inserts himself into Lita the match with the MitB contract.

What about...Trips wins the Rumble, and Edge uses his MITB for a 3-way...or what if Trips wins and jumps to SD! to fight Dave again (yawn)...or...I dunno...for once I'm actually intrigued by something...as long as Cena loses I'll be happy

I can't see Edge, at this point in time, headlining Wrestlemania, so something shifty needs to happen. I'd hate to see them void it since I think it's a pretty cool idea and uses a lot of the roster in one match at each Mania. They should make a shorter time frame for the winner to cash in because seeing a guy carrying a briefcase for a year is annoying.

How about.. He opens the briefcase, and a purple mist rises up into the sky, a la the Undertaker's urn.
THE BRIEFCASE HAS LOST ITS MAGIC!! It's useless now!!
And then he fights Kane and MAtt Hardy in a "Lita on a noose" match, and they all decide not to help her down, and they just leave her hanging there by her neck like Big Boss Man.
OR.. Edge could lose the briefcase.. And he's so upset, he SHOTS HIMSELF!
RATINGS GOLD!

Cena wins at New Years, Trips wins the rumble, Edge wants a three way title match. Edge vs HHH in a special raw match at SD's No Way out for the title shot. HHH wins then wins the title at Mania.

You're assuming Edge stays healthy long enough to cash in on this thing... I'm not....the guy is nade of glass...very thin glass at that...

I swear, Edge should just use the MITB right after the Elimination Chamber. The winner will have had the hell beaten out of him, so Edge runs in, makes the pin, and boom, he's the champ.
Why I don't have a job with WWE i'll never know.

I take it all back. Edge's briefcase will end up just like the briefcase from Pulp Fiction. We'll never find out what's in it or why it even matters - it's just there!!

..And then when Edge wins, Hulk Hogan comes out, and Edge challenges him to a match for the title RIGHT THEN AND THERE! The downed star that Edge just beat encourages the Hulkster to take him on, and after a failed salt throw from Lita, HOGAN WINS!!
I am real American.. Fight for the rights of every man...
Actually, that's about as silly as selling a shampoo endorsed by a bald guy.. But nobody would EVER do something like that..

I think it will just disappear, and go to the great graveyard for forgotten angles in the sky along with Baby Doll's pix of Dusty, the driver of the white Hummer, the original Black Scorpion, etc.

Double standards. I get it now.

I hope he ends up using it, although I seriously doubt (not that they're not good ideas) that he will use it quickly after another title match when the champ is all tired and broke.
I'm guessing one of two things will happen if they don't cop out of it and forget the idea completely--he'll either decide to randomly use it on Raw one week and lose a typical stepping stone match for the champion or they'll forget the one-year stipulation and he'll still be able to redeem it after Wrestlemania. I hope I'm wrong on both accounts.
