Being there is completely different, no matter what happens in the ring you'll almost certainly enjoy the show due to the atmosphere and spectacle, you should get at least one great match on top of that. Watching from home is completely different.
That said I don't think it's too harsh to think that Del Rio vs Swagger shouldn't be WM title match.

I can't blame anyone for not being excited for Wrestlemania this year. However, look at the bright side the event will be better than WM 11, 13 and 27.

I think that even with some lackluster buildup and angles, it's going to be a very solid show. Every single match has the potential to be decent at the very least.

Yea people are being to harsh. I can understand not being excited for certain matches but to say oh this match isn't worthy or this guy isn't worthy is b.s. And IMO hypocritical. People pissed n moaned about all the rematches then when we got something fresh del rio/swagger jericho/fandango people still pissed and moaned. The build up or lack of for this wrestlemania has been lackluster but that doesn't mean in any way shape or form that the matches themselves won't be great. As i said before this mania is a proving ground for guys like fandango, big e, del rio, swagger and the shield. I'll be there live and no one is zapping my excitement although i will say seeing so much negativity is just stupid. I just roll my eyes and do the john cena smirk. I can't wait until Monday so i can see all the backtracking people do...if they are man/woman enough to say damn that was pretty good. We'll see.

I just find myself getting more excited all the time. 80,000 crazy wrestling fans all in one building, it's gonna be nuts. Though excited as I am I'm still open to fair criticism. As you even said, the build has been somewhat lackluster. However, when I envision the show I don't foresee any of the matches not being fun.

it costs $70. for that money it gets added scrutiny. it's incumbent on WWE to justify that outlandish price, and this time they sure haven't.

It's 60.00 here for the HD feed. Still that's just way too much even for a WM. I might try to find a sports bar instead, although even then the U of L women will be playing in the Final 4 so I'm not sure who will even bother with WM.
The problem with this WM build is that I think WWE feels some of these matches are more appealing than fans do. Personally I would have rather saved Punk/Rock for WM, with Rock winning the Rumble. Maybe Cena/Undertaker. I have no interest in seeing Punk vs. Undertaker since I know Punk has zero shot and it won't be a particularly good match. I have utterly no interest in seeing Brock/HHH again since the first match was nothing special and the stip is completely lame (oooh HHH may retire even though he barely wrestles anyway!).

I don't think so. Honestly though I'm only disappointed because we basically called most of the matches in November. So I've just been bored waiting for what I know is going to happen.
I know Sunday I'm going to have fun since it's finally here. If I were there I would be jacked up regardless. I might even cheer Del Rio I'd be so happy.

Thank You for saying the exact same thing i said about the taker/punk match. I have no earthly idea why people are saying oh thank god this match saved mania and it's gonna steal the show oh they should get 30mins and blah blah. Watch people blame the undertaker being old as the reason this match will not be as great as people think it will be. As i said it won't be horrible but steal the show...nope.

I've been saying for ages that this WrestleMania could easily be one of those where the actual show quality makes up for the story quality (or lack there of) leading in. That said, I can understand the reluctance, especially given the price. I can get the DVD 6 weeks later for less than half the price.
