Serious answer... Not entirely sure since I am following one person to test it out and they haven't shown up today... but it's probably like Twitter and shows your followers your recent activity/posts.

From the President and CEO of Proboards: So uh, what's the perks of following people and having people follow you? A couple things. You can view the "Following" tab in your profile to see what people you are interested in are up to. Also, if you follow someone, when you use the "user search box" to search for a member the people you are following will automatically come up higher in the search results. |
