I wasn't sure if anyone had already mentioned this, but Chris Jericho made some comments on Eddie Guerrero's death. Like everyone else, Jericho relived some of his memories with Eddie and mentioned what a great guy he was. Here's just one comment he made:
"One of my favorite times in my career was when Eddy and I were an underutilized, underpushed, hell, almost non-exisitant tagteam, that were thrown together randomly in WCW. But there was a chemistry there that existed becuase we had mutual respect for each other and we both loved what we were doing."
For the rest of it, check out Jericho's web site. It also includes a great picture of the both of them with Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko.

man, I should've waited until I got home from work to read that. Damn, that hurts to read. Touching, honest, and freaking painful.

What's "putillo falso" and "chapete" mean?

the first one means literally fake little b****, said affectionately. The second, I've heard it, but I'm not sure. Terms of endearment in this case, regardless.

From the main Eddie page:
credit : Urban Dictionary Chapete - Insult word that Sureños call their rivals the Norteños
Both the terms probably have special significance to the two as friends.
I wonder what this does for Jericho's focus on Fozzy; I'm sure this must feel like a bullet.

I still think Jericho will be back for the Rumble, even before this tragic event (and this is not meant in any disrespect in ANY way to Eddie,Ive written about 50 posts giving my thoughts and condolences),but now after what has happened,I would almost bet money on it that he will return very soon (possible suprise entrant for the Rumble is my bet) and win the Rumble.Would be really nice if he won the Rumble, went to WM,won the title and dedicated it to Eddie. If Jericho doesnt do this (win Rumble,WM etc),I think it would be a really nice touch if one of his closest friends did e.g Benoit, maybe even Malenko.

Unfortunately, I think within a month it will be business as usual for WWE. It's sad, and I wish it weren't true, but I can't see them dropping their World title plans at WrestleMania to give the belt to one of Eddie's friends.

Smackdown needs a couple of big superstars to come over to help with the loss of talent they have had lately. I do agree it will be business as usual after a while cause that's the way the world works. But I think cause Chavo is there and many of his peers thought so highly of eddie, that this will not go away as quick as most people think. nor should it go away just like that.
