Well, that's quite alright since I don't plan on flying anytime soon.

THey should have asked Alex Cross to be turned off because it's terrible.

Never been on a plane, but it's nice to know they cater to my Tyler Perry love.

I hate parents like this. The same ones that write letters that give us "Yippie Ki Yay Mr. Falcon."

If the parents are telling the truth, then the airline was absolutely idiotic. But the airline would have to be really stupid to divert a plane, pull people off of said plane, and delay all of their passengers/attendants/and so forth just because some people asked nicely if it was possible to turn off a monitor. So I'm not convinced that they're telling the truth.

I hate parents like this. The same ones that write letters that give us "Yippie Ki Yay Mr. Falcon." Er, no, not at all. Those you mention make the conscious decision of showing their kids stuff they shouldn't be shown, then act shocked to find out their kids shouldn't be watching movies that they were told they shouldn't be watching. In a plane, you don't get to choose what's being played so yes, the company should make sure it's appropriate for all ages. Also it's still no reason to divert a freaking plane.

It's a soundless Tyler Perry movie on a 10 inch screen 20 feet away. Distract them.

Ehh, a little PG13 violence won't hurt their kids. I watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday The 13th movies when I was like 3 years old.

Distract them. no, this argument only works on the assumption that they knew the movie would be on the plane before they got the tickets. It should not be on the parents to distract the kid if something inappropriate is being played for its duration.

Don't cross Alex Cross.
