I really hope that Cena turns heel.

I voted Lesnar retiring HHH, but he wouldn't actually retire.

Lesnar retiring Haitch, only because I don't think that qualifies as swerve.

Lesnar retiring Triple H. There's realistically almost zero chance of Cena turning.

I can't believe Cena turning heel was in first before I voted. I don't think there's any chance of that happening, at all.

Lesnar retiring Triple H. He can always come "out of retirement".

At it's core, WWE is pro wrestling and their top babyface has been getting booed louder and louder as every year goes by. They will turn the guy heel. I think it stands a better chance of happening on Sunday than it has in a long, long time.

Until they have someone who is even remotely close to taking over as the number one babyface/draw -- I can't see that happening. Cena still draws in tons of kids and their parents, and he still sells more merch than anyone by a wide margin.

I still think he can be that guy, but it'll take some repairing.

I'm kind of surprised at how close 2 of these choices are.

Out of the 3, Lesnar, but probably none of them.

Your options are pretty terrible. None of those are going to happen. You should have put Orton goes heel up there, that will happen.

Lesnar retiring Haitch, only because I don't think that qualifies as swerve. Agreed, that wouldn't be a swerve at all and is actually highly probable imo.

I never understood the idea that Cena selling so much merchandise meant he had to stay face. Punk sells merch as a heel, as did Orton. If they'd think of more creative ideas for shirts rather than just bringing out the same ones in different colors, they'd be fine. And about the kids and parents... Shouldn't that be why a heel turn would work so well? If Punk can dump (fake) ashes on someone and mock a heart attack, why not have Cena "turn his back" on the fans?

Why does he have to "turn heel"? Why can't he pull a Diesel in late-95/early-96 and just tell people "my fans are the ones who wear the black gloves. The rest get run down by the Diesel Train". (Sid did the same thing at the end of the year; he'd be a "heel", but only bump fists with those who cheered him.) Pretty much what the nWo was all about, "if you're not with us, you're against us".
Nothing wrong with that at all. Just wish he'd be honest with everyone. He already took half of Rick Steiner's catch-phrases: "You want some? Come get some!" Go ahead and take the rest of it: "If you don't like me, bite me!"
