she was born yesterday. it was the ending to the Weekend Escapades and upon further research Joey Matthews/Joey Mercury actually was the first: TNA weekly pay-per-view #57 (8/6/03) - Joey Matthews vs. Danny Doring vs. Michael Shane vs. Shark Boy WWE "Judgment Day 2005" (5/22/05) - Johnny Nitro & Joey Mercury vs. Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas ROH "Take No Prisoners" (3/16/08 - aired 5/30/08) - Joey Matthews & Necro Butcher vs. Briscoe Brothers I was starting to wonder about the people brought in during TNA's weekly PPV days. I had forgotten about those and the sheer number of one offs they'd add to the TNA side. This could be a hell of a lot larger list than I was expecting.

I thought Sydal was in WWE before ROH started doing PPVs. Good catch he was on the first two ppvs ("Respect is Earned" and "Driven") before having his final match in ROH against Delirious at the third ppv taping in a non-ppv match ("Man Up")

Okay, strange question that just popped in my head, after Gallows works the ROH iPPV, will he become the first to work WWE, ROH and TNA PPVs? I know I am stretching to some by using iPPV but, hey, it is my question. Only other name I think could have done it would be Flair but I cannot remember if ROH was doing iPPVs during Flair's brief run. Anyone manage all those plus at least one ECW PPV appearance?

Joey Matthews still. The ones mcmahonfan85 listed and w/Christian York v. Doring and Roadkill at Anarchy Rulz 2000. Raven, Shane Douglas and Terry Funk are just an ROH (i)PPV away from having WWE, ECW, WCW, TNA and ROH shows.

Alex Shelly is confirmed for Global Wars in Toronto! That settles it. I was on the fence given my bad experiences with ROH iPPV's in the past but if I'm not in work the day after I'll be getting this iPPV, and probably the NYC show too. So much awesome going around.

Alex Shelly is confirmed for Global Wars in Toronto! Was kinda iffy on getting this show, since I'll be working, but f*** it, I got the app, I'll watch it while watching the door.

There's one of two reasons for the lack of interpromotional matches - either they're saving them for the bigger NYC show, or the NJPW office doesn't trust ROH workers.

Almost have to be saving them, right? We get Okada vs Elgin in NYC. If not, it's curious that Elgin gets to work the foreigners at both shows.

I still have a feeling AJ Styles wins the title from Okada at Dontaku so that AJ can get his win over Elgin finally.

I think its because NJPW wants to bring in Elgin, which would be god damned perfect.

Welp, that's the biggest waste of a Tanahashi US appearance since he was an X-Division jobber.

It seems to me like Nakamura's and Liger's positions should have been reversed in New York. Oh well, Nakamura vs Steen will still be wonderful.

Works both ways, and of course it still can if Steen somehow won the title from Cole, but he won't. Cole getting a rare chance to work with Liger will be incredible for him.

Guys, Bennett is not that bad. He has gotten better since the Cornette booking days. The matches with Steen at Final Battle and Mark Briscoe at SCOH were really good. He definitely does not deserve as much hate as he gets.
I am looking foreword to the match. Would I rather see Jacobs or Silas Young get a shot? Ya. But Bennett has improved where I think he deserves this opportunity.
