He had a match with Brent Albright that was better than it had any right to be. Can't rememberthe show it was on though. he had two with Albright that were good. the first at "Death Before Dishonor VI" and the rematch at "Glory by Honor VII" he was also one of the main guys for ROH in the CZW feud, and while no one would ever put him on the same level as Bryan Danielson or Samoa Joe he was solid in the ring, cut good promos and was a dependable wrestler It was the Death Before Dishonor match I was thinking of. Their GBH match, whilst not bad by any stretch (which is what I had expected from those two), wasn't on the same level. Their DBD match is the most surprised I've ever been by how good a wrestling match is. I had minus expectations and they delivered an awesome, awesome match.

I have limited exposure to Adam Pearce but whenever I see him it's f***ing cool. That promo was brilliant.

I don't get the big deal about Pierce is there any matches besides his stuff with Colt that are his career defining matches? I think a big part of Scrap Iron's legacy is how hard he rode with the NWA title. The matches with Colt from this run get the most attention, and perhaps rightfully so as their program was incredible, but if you look at the past 15 years or so of that NWA belt, Adam really busted his you-know-what to keep it afloat. He did a great job modernizing the classic NWA style for today's fan while still adhering to the classic traditions without seeming archaic. He also defended that belt absolutely everywhere, and put on great matches regardless who he was in the ring with. Again, this all culminated in the Colt feud, and it takes two to tango and make that feud so memorable, but a big reason why those matches were so built up and meaningful was how much Adam did with that belt. EDIT: Also, I think a reason not many people cite a go-to "Must See Adam Pearce" match is because he's always been adamantly against releasing any sort of "Best Of" compilation or career retrospective. To quote him on his Facebook page when asked about it: " I have zero interest in sitting through my matches and having to decide which ones are "best". Plus, I don't own the footage of several matches that I would probably want to include."

Well said, even though I may not be a huge supporter of Pierce, he was very influential in the early years of PWG.

Well I never thought Pearce would return because of all the bad blood after he got fired, I know Syd Eck left a couple of years ago, is Ross still employed there?

ACH/Lethal and Young Bucks/Bad Influence are worth checking out. Really good matches.
Elgin had like...no reaction when he came out. I was surprised.
Kendrick came to work.
It was a fun taping. Nothing crazy, but worth it.
