I thought the Match was way to slow. The suplex after suplex got crazy boring mainly because it felt like a minute between each one and nothing happened inbetween. On a great night of Wrestling this match really stuck out. It was a terrible slow boring match. The only good think I can say about it is I liked it more than HHH's match with the Undertaker last year. Worst match of Wrestlemania by far and just a bad match in general.

I've never seen a match that was so good and awful at the same time. They beat the hell out of each other. They just took forever to do it. That's pretty much what I thought. Even the Kimura lock spots were inventive, compelling, poorly applied (well I don't think it looked right anyway) and ridiculous all at the same time. The crowd was often silent but reacted loudly to everything. It was just a match full of strange contrasts. Also I had no issue with the outcome (although I don't think there was any need for the rematch).

Yeah, seeing it live I'm glad I wasn't just thinking it was quiet as hell for most of this match. Bad idea putting it after Punk/Taker which seemed to really get the crowd going. HHH winning was an inevitability I was resigned to before the match even started, but it still stunk seeing it happen. And yeah, I was almost expecting Brock to tap out (and when he got locked in the 3rd time I was yelling "WHY ARE YOU NOT MOVING AWAY FROM HIM EVERY TIME YOU BREAK THE LOCK?!") just for it to be a TOTAL middle finger to any credibility Brock may have had. I also found HBK getting involved early to be strange since yeah, Brock was winning fair and square while HHH was resorting to interference and ball shots to get the upper hand. Who's the good guy supposed to be again?
Match was OK but yes it was slow (Cena/Rock too, but this is what you get when you put in a couple of over the hill guys that wrestle once a year) and the crowd was superdead for at least half of it. As for the result, as I stated, predictable (a recurring theme of the night, but hey, wrestlemania). Still disappointing to see since you had this guy everyone could easily buy as some unstoppable monster and...he loses most of his matches. How's he a monster again? Just because it takes a lot to beat him? He's already proven he's thoroughly beatable to any opponent that tries hard enough, so if WWE still tries to present him as this unstoppable beast, all that'll get is a big time eyeroll from me. And that's a shame. Hope the ego stroke was worth it, HHH/Vince!

He's already proven he's thoroughly beatable to any opponent that tries hard enough! ANY opponent? Ha come on, his two losses were to the two of the three most over and protected Superstars in the company.

Terrible psychology in the match. In a MMA match you tap after 3 seconds of being in a kimura, you don't fight it off for 5 minutes. I just assumed that was because HHH isn't an MMA fighter and can't really do the hold properly. Whenever Brock does it it's pretty much an instant armbreaker. Anyway, I liked it. It started slowly (though that's true of most big WM matches - you could arrive five/ten minutes in and you've missed nothing) but the ending was great. I loved the completely out of nowhere suplex through the table as well. It made sense for HHH to win and it doesn't hurt Brock in the slightest. They're both really at the point where their wins and losses don't matter.

^ But that's what I mean, those two guys essentially provided the blueprint for taking Lesnar down - goad him into a no DQ match, apply steel steps liberally, enjoy your victory. My issue is mainly why are you paying a guy that much just to lose the majority of his matches? It makes no logical sense to me since if you have a guy just steamrolling through even the biggest names it makes it that much better when he finally gets his. These big names can afford to lose every once in a while, especially when it's for a greater good. Just frustrating to see play out live even though everyone could've called HHH winning.

Ha come on, his two losses were to the two of the three most over and protected Superstars in the company. It doesn't really matter how protected they are. Lesnar lost to the only 2 superstars he's faced since his return. That's what people are going to remember when they start setting up his match with his next opponent.

The big names do lose every once in a while. Cena lost a lot last year. Triple H lost to Brock last year. And if you think everyone called Triple H winning you should check out some of the predictions and pick-em threads- many people picked Brock to win.

In fact in the Pick-em thread 14 people picked Lesnar to win and only 10 picked HHH. But people will still say it's "predictable."
