Cena and Rock will be verbally fellating each other in the ring when they're interrupted by *FUNK IS ON A ROLL* and Brodus, Sweet T, Naomi, and Cameron come to the ring and viciously beat them into a pulp, and declare themselves the New Nation.

The words "shocking", "surprise", and "unpredictable" aren't in the WWE's vocabulary anymore.
Plus, I'm not sure what return would be all that "big" outside of maybe Kurt Angle.

Outside of Sting or Bruno resurrecting Macho who could there be?

Outside of Sting or Bruno resurrecting Macho who could there be? Yeah, I forgot about Sting. But let's face it, it appears that is never happening.

Cena is kind of becoming like Goku at the end of DBZ.
You just had him beat a guy who is supposed to be expontentially stronger than everyone else. Unless you want to butcher the writing, where else is there to go?

Unless you want to butcher the writing, where else is there to go? Cena gets turned into a little kid, WWE's full-time run ends about a year later with no fanfare, then there start being occasional specials that don't mention anything that happens after tonight?

No.
I mean, even if a huge return happened it won't outdo the return of one of the most significant pro-wrestlers of all time who left to pursue his other dreams after only a few years (which meant fans didn't get burnt out on him like any guy in the main event scene the last 7 years), and who became a legitimate fighting champion.
Man, I'm so disappointed. I wanted this 'Mania to really surprise me and make me want to catch Raw but I think I'm going to have a month's break and watch Extreme Rules next month, hopefully things will have improved by then.

The fact that you don't consider GT to be "butchering the writing" scares me. I'm going to hide myself in a ditch now.

Maybe Vince will have another silly fake death take place in an attempt to get people to talk about something other than tonight.
