Actually I'm the opposite, I hate those stupid backstage segments on PPVs but would have welcomed a bit of comedy to break up epic style match after epic style match.

No problem with it at all, as I was pleasantly surprised to not be subjected to any of those lame skits they like to put on.

The only way I would have wanted to see a backstage segment is if it involved Dragon and Backlund. Other than that, they're a waste of time and usually not funny.

Ok so It wasnt Sky Box office skipping stuff.
We didnt get our Random Legends, Divas and lower midcard guys dancing backstage segment with the complimentry Ron Simmons "DAMN" this year.
If anything this years Wrestlemania felt pretty rushed.

I would've like to see the low carders attempting to do a Harlem Shake video only for Diddy to show them the REAL Harlem Shake.

I miss the annual random backstage Wrestlemania party that used to happen, those things were awesome and didn't take up that much time

If there had been the usual amount of backstage segments/skits, the reaction would be either:
a) Threads saying 'I really loved those backstage skits, great use of pacing and time"
b) Theads on WWE wasting time that could have been spent giving us Miz/Barrett or Cesaro of maybe Henry/Ryback, if they had cut that match
c) Threads saying 'The backstage stuff just makes it feel like Raw or SD -- we get that every week. This is the biggest show of the year, and those segments make it feel like a regular weekly episode"
The last several years I have seen lots of B and C and no A, but I'm sure this time would have been completely different

From today's Wrestling Observer news update:
--Tons of backstage interviews, celebrity stuff, the 8 man tag, America the Beautiful and more were cut off the show because they were so tight on time and wanted to give the top three matches a full chance to play out.

I was very okay with no backstage skits, legends dancing, etc. I like pre-match interviews though, wouldn't have minded seeing a couple of those, but I wasn't thinking "talk more dammit!" during the show or anything.
