This is Rock's dilemma. If I was him, I'd take a year or so out from doing movies (especially since he seems to pile them on, one after the other), which would allow him to make his appearances as and when he needed. It's not like he needs the money, and much like Cena...it would do him good to get time off and do some cardio *hint**hint* I'd go back Hollywood and never wrestle again. I'd go back to Holywood and wrestle for NWA: Hollywood.

Court Bauer is claiming the injury story is BS put out by Rock's people. Apparently issues have been brewing between him and WWE for a while now, with the low PPV numbers for Royal Rumble and EC not helping.

I'm going to take the safe route here and say until I see how this is handled in the next few days, I'm going to assume it's a work.

I hope Rock isn't injured. That could be bad.

Young Rock looks embarassed about knowing he's going to get that terrible tattoo in the future, while old Rock wonders why he ever thought the sideburns were a good idea.

How is it that the backstage drama is already more interesting than anything on the actual show last night?

Good on Rock.
That was a god awful creative. I'm proud of him for bolting. Back to the same old status quo (SuperCena) and people were sick of this nonsense 4 years ago, and its still GOING ON.
The beauty in all this though.. Watch the ratings totally hit the crapper. Rock brought huge viewers back when he retired and they will no doubt be driven away at record pace now because they are back the same old same old creatively.
They aren't building ANY mid carders, they won't turn Cena heel despite the majority being sick to death of him, they booked WM last night like it was just a taping of Superstars.
This company is in trouble if they dont get on the ball.
And to top it off the other guy that is the last of big draws (Lesnar) they totally ruined his monster aura last night with Trips demolishing him

Why do people assume he left because he was mad over 'having to put Cena over'? He seems to get along with him and has said in a few interviews that he wanted to wrestle and put over Cena. Honestly though, if that turns out to be the case? No sympathy for Rock. If he can't handle losing one match then the company is better off without him (creatively. Not money wise obviously) I would think he would be mad at WWE being stupid enough to have them hug. Did they actually think that it would get Cena cheered??

I was just reading Court's twitter, and it got me thinking. If Rock's relationship has been strained for the 3 years since he's returned...then why in the hell did he accept a title reign?

The aftermath of last night's match was flat out atrocious and seemed like an obvious send off for The Rock. Now, if they wanted to use him for their next slate of shows I have absolutely no idea why they decided to go for the finish/post-match stuff they did, because not only did the crowd not like it but it was just too one sided.
What sense does it make for Rock to come out and even talk about what happened? Why would he come out and ask for a rematch when he looked like Cena's bitch after the match? Why would he further congratulate him when he spent 20 minutes doing that already? I'm not saying that The Rock should have won, but good lord if you're going to have Cena win the match at least do something that allows you to logically transition into your next feuds in multiple ways. If they really were depending on Rock to just walk out and give one long stalling promo until Brock attacked him then it's their fault that they can't come up with a better way to get Rock/Brock feuding without repeating the exact same thing they did last year.

God damnit. If they return with the insanely sloppy RVD as a suprise tonight i won't be mad, just totally apathetic. He is just terrible these days.
Ok if he HAS to return, feed him to Fandango or something.

The mental image I got of Vince calling Big Show a "cracker" made me laugh. I pictured him calling Show a "Diabolical Honky Devil!"

So a guy who read the script for the Tooth Fairy movie and took the money and went through with that is upset over booking of a wrestling match?
I'm having trouble believing that.
