How is it that the backstage drama is already more interesting than anything on the actual show last night? That's a damn good question. You know this kind of reminds me when Austin left and the Rock came back to save the day. As it stands now, Rock has never been one to take his ball and go home so I'm going to wait until some other sources can describe the situation.

I told Court he was stirring the pot, and got hit with "I'm not making dinner, going out".
Witty bastard.

Why do people assume he left because he was mad over 'having to put Cena over'? He seems to get along with him and has said in a few interviews that he wanted to wrestle and put over Cena. Honestly though, if that turns out to be the case? No sympathy for Rock. If he can't handle losing one match then the company is better off without him (creatively. Not money wise obviously) I would think he would be mad at WWE being stupid enough to have them hug. Did they actually think that it would get Cena cheered?? If anyone thought their feud would end with anything but mutual respect, they're being silly. Still don't see it as a reason to bolt. It's not like they booked him to lose to Santino on Raw in 3 minutes. Internet fans believing wrestlers they like think like they do is alittle weird. If it's true it sounds like some crazy bad miscommunication.

Rumourmania is RUNNING WILD!
Now I'm reading here and there that Vince changed the ending of the main event on the fly at the last minute. No source on that, but it's what I've read.

Court Bauer is claiming the injury story is BS put out by Rock's people. Apparently issues have been brewing between him and WWE for a while now, with the low PPV numbers for Royal Rumble and EC not helping. Considering how much they were pimping his movies and his other appearances on TV I'm taking that with a grain of salt.

Would not surprise me at all. As much as I love Vince he can be a tad unpredictable at times.

And this is the rumor I am hinging my bets on. As it would make sense with not only the aftermath but the entire damn strange booking of that match.

It'd be kinda ironic if Steve Austin appeared on RAW in his place. Basically an exact opposite of when Austin "Took his ball and went home" years ago.

Another update from Meltzer:
The preliminary word was that it was a groin tear or severe groin pull.

Well as part of that same rumour, some have speculated whether Vince changed it during the match itself hence why it slowed down. So the ref could relay the message to both men.

Will Rock's nuts in a cast ruin Tensai's gimmick?
