I'm not part of those "on-board" this weird Fandango thing, but I'm not going to deny them their enjoyment of it. You're going against wrestling internet fan logic though? The cool kids aren't supposed to like what the common ones do - even if they actually do - and then are supposed to moan about it.

Next week on Raw I'm looking forward to 2 things.
The follow up to the Ryback angle and Fandango.
That makes him over with me.

I my opinion he's very over, very entertaining and I think that the crowd should be like this more often. I shall now depart

It's just those darn smarks.
That vocal minority which never goes out and just sits online all the time getting themselves over doing it. That tiny portion of the fanbase, hardly worth mentioning, that fills up arenas and busses singing midcarder themes.
Also they all organized to go to NBA games and chant YES. DAMN THOSE SMARKS.
They did the same thing with CM Punk. That tiny little fraction of the fanbase, I mean you could hardly hear any cheers for him ever. Then WWE pushes him for a year because like 6 internet nerds just happen to do CM Punk chants, and they try to make it look like some big thing by printing out 1500 CM Punk signs at every show and handing them out in every arena in the country.

Well what can't be denied, is that he's over with the people that actually run the company.

Singing his theme doesn't make him over, I agree.
But people WERE booing him before he even wrestled. If that's not over, I don't know what is.

Fandango isn't over.
He's just extremely popular with a lot of people, mainly wrestling fans who pay a lot of money for tickets and merchandise!
Damn him for his popularity!

This is Vince's wet dream. Reportedly Fandango is Vince's idea, and now he gets a huge non-forced reaction??
As for him being over or not. I don't see how you can apply the argument that his theme is over and not him and not apply that same argument to guys like Bryan and Ryback.

What about CM Punk's shirts? I assume no one paid for that crap and all those were homemade? Maybe in a sarcastic fashion to mock the support he got from 6 internet smarks? Lol

If Fandango isn't over, you'd have to ignore the heat he's been getting before WrestleMania. And that would be downright nutty.

The comparison is because people said the same thing about Ryback when "Feed me more" started getting chanted. And when "smarks on a 'mania high" took over Wrestlemania and the Raw after with "Yes" chants. The latter especialy started under literally the exact same conditions and had people claiming it didn't mean he was over. I don't at all see how someone's theme song can draw such a huge reaction and become a thing, and this not be proof that just maybe the guy who the element is exclusive to might just be over. It's like claiming that Kurt Angle wasn't over, singing "You suck" along with his theme music was over. Again, here we go with the "Insert Legendary Credible Professional Wrestler Here" wasn't over, "Insert a chant or saying of said wrestler" was over. STOP comparing Fandango to those men, it's stupid. What has Fandango accomplished? Honestly, what? Other than being put over by Jericho and people humming his song? Go ahead, hit me with Fandango's WWE accolades! You guys keep comparing him to Rock, Stone Cold, Kurt Angle and whatnot, so he's gotta have matched accomplishments right? He won his NXT season.

I think it is fair to question what the song humming meant. Was it because they like Fandango and want him to be a big star? Do they hate him and were using that to mock him? Did they just react to everything because it was the night after Wrestlemania and they were happy to be there and looking to take part in a "Yes!" Like moment? Who knows. We'll have to just wait and see. I don't think we or WWE should read much into it at this point. From the Smackdown spoilers. Nothing about the context for it, just to address whether or not this happens again: {Spoiler}The crowd hummed Fandango's song the whole time. How typically smarky are Boston crowds? If this becomes a weekly thing, it's gonna get ridiculously old in a hurry. And if "What!?" Is any indication, smarks in the crowd can take something fun and beat it into the ground...and continue to do it.....for over ten years.

Also, for the record, the crowd popped huge when he said his name on the mic after getting his ass kicked by Jericho. Yes, because that was the funniest thing I have EVER seen on WWE. It was leagus above the cringe inducing attempts they usually have at humor. Fandango is THE best thing they have going on. I don't know if they hired new, more talented writers, but they have been upping their game at funny gimmicks: Emma and Fandango are proof for that. It no longer stupid laughtrack sitcom, but actually funny awkward sitcom. It's like they changed from the shitty "2 And A Half Men" to an awesome "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia". I seriously hope they keep that up and don't doink Fandango into a shitty, unfunny babyface!
