I kind of like it. I especially like PSY's censor dodging word play.
I think its music video will really decide if PSY has another global hit on his hands.

For some reason the beat is completely smothering me and I'm literally finding it hard to breath while listening to it. Weird. Other than it making me feel like I'm slowly starving of Oxygen, it's pretty catchy.

I admit my knowledge of musical composition isn't very deep, so I may be way off base here, but...
Does this song sound almost exactly like Gangnam Style to anyone else?

No offense to Psy, but I'm sure the song is nowhere as good as the Theory of a deadman song of the same name.

I dig it, but nothing will top Gangnam Style for me.

Last night, my mom's AMA passed Psy on Reddit to become #10 of all time. I called her up to congratulate, but then had to explain to her who Psy was.

I could see it in a film soundtrack during a "wacky party montage"

I could see it in a film soundtrack during a "wacky party montage" You mean like when they show all the crazy party pictures during the credits of Hangover 2? I use that example because that was my exact thoughts when I started listening. That said, I do like the catchy beat but it won't be topping Gangnam Style for me.

I think I actually prefer this over Gangnam Style. Than again Iam pretty sick of Gangnam style now at this stage I kinda predicted this guy to be a 1 hit wonder but who knows?

The beat seems a lot more "intense" this time around. I like it.

It certainly seems to follow a lot of the same beats. I actually started humming Gangnam Style and found a lot of parts matched up almost perfectly. .....OTOH, I don't think I'll be able to help but think of Gangnam Style when I hear anything Psy ever.

Much like Gangnam Style, I think I would prefer to have a battery acid enema than listen to THAT again.

This guy had a #1 international hit with a horrible song. I see NO REASON why Fandango's theme can't be an award winning, international #1 hit.

Like Gangnam Style it's really catchy. Not as "fun" as Gangnam Style, though maybe it will be with the video. I dunno.
I don't think it'll be as big a hit, but he's a pretty huge deal in South Korea anyway. Not like he's a new, unknown artist or anything.

And now the official music video is out. It is essentially PSY being a perverted asshole for nearly 4 minutes. It is f***ing glorious!!!!!! I honestly like it more than Gangnam Style's video because it has many more gif worthy moments and the featured Korean pop star in this video, Ga-In, is, IMO, much hotter than Hyuna, the featured Korean pop star in Gangnam Style. Also, just like how in Gangnam Style PSY resurrected the Running Man dance, he resurrected the Thriller zombie shuffle dance in this video.
