So according to John Cena, him and Randy Orton are friends. Yes, the man that punted Cena's father, fought on and off for nearly four years, and in their somewhat final match, tried to kill with pyrotechnics, is actually friends with John Cena. And yet, Del Rio is a monster for cashing in Money in the Bank on CM Punk.

Even as faces they haven't really 'talked' since like Nexus.
Haha.

Do people forget the time Orton brohugged Cena the night he was "fired" from the WWE in 2010?

Going through that kind of stuff together... it builds bonds, man.

Everyone just figures that since Orton's a face, he's "not that guy anymore" and "he's changed".

This is the guy who's shocked that someone who once jumped him eight-on-one would attack him to try and get a title shot. Yeah, I know they don't exactly play up Ryback's involvement in Nexus, but they do at least acknowledge it here and there.
Or for that matter, he seems to take no issue with JBL being at ringside every week when JBL once tried to crush him between two cars.

Yeah I don't like this top of thing either - this is why it was so gratifying to have Orton tell Foley that he still hated him.
To be fair, Cena and DX are friends on screen as seen by their goofy interactions over the past couple of years, but yeah, him and Orton should have respect and nothing more.

Can you imagine if, just for one day, the WWE booked their shows with every feud and storyline in history taken into effect? It'll be complete madness. You'll need graphics on screen just to explain it all.
These guys should all be committed.

They could make one of those Kane continuity collages for each superstar and display it during their entrances.

That's nothing. Also keep in mind Hogan had Rock put into an ambulance so he could ram it with a truck, and at the end of their blood feud Wrestlemania X-8 match they were the best of friends, so much so that Hogan dumped the nWo for him.

Yeah this is a guy that got kicked in the head by Daniel Bryan while he was screaming at him...then a bit later he brings Bryan back on his SS team in dramatic fashion...The guy is as naive as Sting

For some reason, the first thing I'll always think of on the Cena firing storyline is the time he finished a beatdown and they actually booted up his theme song to end the segment. Like... I get there was basically no pretense of him being gone after the first night anyway, but given they at least bothered to remove him from the opening segment and replace the sign-on image with Miz, you'd think they'd have at least been smart enough to not play his theme music.
