Prepare yourselves. This man has achieved something that Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, The Great Muta, Masahiro Chono, Ron Garvin, The Von Erich's all have not. He is the first man to win the NWA World, NWA North American and NWA National Titles. That's right, him How long until the owners of the NWA take the NWA out back and put a bullet in it?

So? The North American title wasn't established until 1994, and the National title was only around from 80-86, retired, and revived in 97.
That's like complaining about Bret Hart never being Wwe US Champ.

But yeah, I think the point stands.

I'd much prefer Jarrett or Severn or Corino to hold the honor instead of this guy.

Surely with the sheer number of different NWA titles Corino has held he must have picked up a triple crown before this chump, right? Surely they're wrong, they have to be wrong.

There were way, WAAAAY too many NWA titles running around the territories to really have a definitive Triple Crown. But if I had to pick three to use, it would be The World, Mid Atlantic/Crockett US, and Mid Atlantic TV title. Going by those three then you have Dusty, Flair, and probably a few others as Triple Crown winners.
Aside from the World title, neither of those other two that Kahagas holds has a lineage that really goes back before the mid 90s. It just feels like complaining for the sake of complaining.

The NWA National Title looks like the NWA TV title to me.

Actually the National Title was implemented in 1980 guys like Tommy Rich, Dusty Rhodes, Paul Orndorff, Tully Blanchard won the belt. The North American strap is also prestigious in it's own right being defended in WWE and being held by guys like Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Von Erich, Greg Valentine, Barry Windham and others. This guy who is really a Great Muta rip off has won three very prestigious titles hence the complaint. He wrestles under the name "Kahagas" he's basically best known for being shot on by Bruce Santee infront of 30 people and his FIP work (Where he was a lower midcard guy) He does a Great Muta gimmick. Wrestles a similar style (Nowhere near as good though) and is basically an American version of Muta.

Whatever. The NWA is an indy fed these days, nothing more. It's like a child taking over a parent's dynasty, and royally f***ing it up.
Just because it was great once doesn't mean it'll be that great forever.

The funniest part about this picture is that the dude probably hung that banner up in his apartment to take that picture.
Get your own gimmick jackass.

Just because it was great once doesn't mean it'll be that great forever. The NWA has been an indy promotion for decades. People gave it a pass when Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana held the title but it was still a minor title in wrestling. Even when TNA brought the rights for the NWA initials and main titles, they soon realized they were paying for something that had no value and dropped it.

I am more interested in seeing what the new NWA world title belt looks like. I hope the finally updated the Canadian flag on the new belt.

I was expecting Rob Conway. Somehow, I'm disappointed it's not.
I never thought I'd say that.

TNA decided not to renew their contract with the NWA because they outgrown them.
