it's amazing how much the guy's stock has fallen. a couple years back he would've been another *shudder* indy darling. I defy you guys to name another big name indy guy who would earn this much vitriol for saying he might get signed by WWE.

He's probably moving to Connecticut to nearer to the ROH shows. He's probably tired of having to drive a stupid distance from St. Louis and ROH ain't paying airfare no more.

I hear he's gonna work in retail, but I don't know about that. It requires one to sell.

Well I guess the WWE does own the rights to the name Firebreaker Chip if he wants to wrestle and be a firefighter.

I spend more time watching ROH than WWE these days so I endorse this move. The less Davey Richards I have to see, the better in my eyes.

I've always hated Davey since he debuted in ROH but I'm all for him going to WWE. Less him on the Indys means someone new can get elevated so that's always nice. Plus even though I'm not a fan he's out years in and deserves at least a shot in NXT I guess. Maybe he's more charismatic than I think

I love Davey's no selling. It's so absurd that I can't help but love it. I hope he does get signed and see what happens when he tries to no sell an FU.

God no. He'd be done within a day for attitude problems after being brought in to get squashed by Lesnar and no-selling the F-5.

If he ever tried to do such a thing, Lesnar would literally break him in two with his next move. This is the guy that gave no f***s about Bob Holly and dropped him right on his neck.

that was Bob Holly's own damn fault. nobody told him to sandbag freaking Brock Lesnar.
I doubt Davey even gets that far though. his pseudo MMA/strong-style wannabe style's gonna piss everyone off.

Davey, on the other hand seems to give Teddy Hart a run for his money when it comes to complete arrogance. Shit, I hope Davey gets f***ing ramsacked if he's heading up there.

If he no sold the F5 Brock would break him in half, Brock is scary enough when he's fake fighting, I can't imagine what he would be like if he were REALLY pissed off at someone. Especially someone that isn't an elite MMA fighter(despite Davey's claims)

I would love it if he was signed and instead of being the tough guy badass he wants to be they gave him the goofiest gimmick possible.
Right now I'm leaning towards stripping fireman, but if some FAN members can think of goofier stuff for Davey to be I'm all ears.

Vickie perhaps?

He is way too small for WWE. He's billed at 5 foot 8 which probably means he's 5'6 or 5'7 in reality. He's 208 pounds and to be at that weight at 5'7-5'8 you have to be on the juice.
So he can't get much bigger weight wise and he's a short guy. When was the last time WWE had a 5'7 guy on their roster other than Mysterio and Sin Cara (Arguably 2 of the best Lucha stars of all time)
The odds of Davey Richards going to WWE are very very slim. He's a talented indy guy but he's indy for life in my opinion.
