Is Punk going to throw in the towel for his buddy, leading to a SummerSlam match?

Coleman has his fair share of "worked" MMA fights, I don't see how he can be upset about a pro wrestler taking the spotlight over him.

He's upset at UFC producers, so he wants to pick a fight with Punk, who has no control over what gets put on camera?
Sounds like a reasonable reaction to me.

I wonder if he gets upset when they show close ups of the fans who aren't trained MMA fighters or Hollywood celebrity and MMA fan Kevin James?

He's to MMA world like what Kurt Angle is to pro wrestling - a great past, irrelevant nowadays and then seeking attention in all ways. I can't figure how this is Punk's "fault" or how he has anything to do with it. Would he fight every time they show a hot girl in crowd?

what a dink. Punk was probably just there having a good time with his girl. this reminds me of that time Goldberg and Triple H were in the same building for some convention and Goldberg went into character and got into Trips' face and tried to pick a fight with him.

There's a pretty glaring typo in that report. It should say "Punk is also planning to attend the UFC 159 pay per view on April 27th to watch his friend Chael Sonnen lose to Jon Jones.

If I learned anything from Nick Diaz (and I do stress anything), Chael Sonnen is selling wolf tickets all week long to get maybe a few people to think he's got a shot against a guy who should finish him in the first five minutes. And as for Mark Coleman, dude is about five beers short of a six-pack. His last fight a couple of years ago in the UFC he lost to Couture, then got into an argument with Tito Ortiz and challenged him to a fight. Dana White, a very smart businessman, knew that fight would have been awesome in 2002, said no and cut Coleman within hours.

He just decided to go to the show. Either he bought his own ticket or Dana gave him one because Dana gives tickets to everybody. Seriously, though, I wish I knew that Mark was at the show so I could intentionally not give a shit. And for those unfamiliar with The Hammer, here's a taste:

Coleman wants to challenge CM Punk but before Punk gets to answer, another Paul Heyman guy steps in to defend Punk.... Brock Lesnar! Knowing he couldn't take them both, Coleman asks an old elementary school buddy help....
Live at the Extreme Rules PPV we wil have Brock Lesnar and CM Punk vs Mark Coleman and Triple H

UFC Veteran is not impressed with CM Punk... Was anyone expecting this thread to be about a beef between GSP and Punk, and not Coleman?

Good 'ol GSP, miss the days when he didn't exactly have a grasp on the English language. Anyway, I wonder if Coleman's still in a state of of perpetual near balding?

I think Dana White said that the reason why Coleman was cut was because they were afraid if he was allowed to fight again, he would be the first person to die in the octagon. That being said he hasn't been relevant since winning the 2000 Openweight pride GP and its strange that he wanted to have a fight with Punk yet when Shinichi Suzukawa tried to shoot on him in a worked matched in Japan, he didn't defend himself and just left the ring and said fight me for real somewhere else.
