I don't know what the most ridiculous/weird thing about it was.
Only 6 divas being in the battle royal which shows how shallow it is. The Bellas being DQ from the rumble for a tactic they have done their entire career? AJ jumping into Tamina's arms and then getting her head knocked off with a super kick Aksana being eliminated and taking the announcers forever to realized. AJ playing dead for the whole match. Layla molesting AJ in the middle of the ring. Added: Cole not knowing who is in the match.
I mean I'm happy AJ won but it was so confusing and ridiculous at the same time. At least I can say it was better than those past battle royals... not much praise but it is something.

Cole not knowing who was in the ring was absolutely embarrassing.

There were actually 5, but yeah, I know what you mean. I think that's why it wasn't completely horrendous. When there's so many of them in there, they just all look confused and don't know what to do.

One bright spot, maybe the only one I really enjoyed Kaitlyn on commentary

One bright spot, maybe the only one I really enjoyed Kaitlyn on commentary Yeah she did a nice job and looked very nice as well. She is definitely starting to win me over. I was really hoping for Naomi to get the win, but I knew AJ was winning.

Apparently Naomi is Aksana. When Cole made that botch, I facepalmed. Yeah Cole, I can see how you'd get those two confused. I liked the super kick to AJ. That and AJ's subsequent selling was excellent, even if the end result was a foregone conclusion.

I actually liked the reasoning for Bellas not being a part of it because it establishes actual consequences to actions which is a concept mostly foreign in WWE these days. I actually thought the match was a bit of a step up to the usual Divas routine, there were some quirky spots and a bit of control to it. With the division being as disparate as ever it at least made it less a matter of Divas just flailing about until they eventually stumble out.
Don't get me wrong, it was still just a reminder how depressing the division is, but I didn't hate it as much as I usually do.

AJ looked like a star, I guess that was all they wanted out of the clusterf***.

The problem I have with it is that such logic is not consistent at all in WWE, and really all of pro wrestling. If WWE can punish the Bellas for using Twin Magic, why don't they punish everyone who cheats in a match, or attacks people from behind, or exhibits poor sportsmanship?

4 of the 6 divas involved in the segment were from NXT3.

It felt like that Battle Royal from mid/late 98 where it was 19 jobbers and The Rock. AJ was introduced first, was ahead of everyone else, was the only one to get a reaction from the crowd (not that that's surprising) and she had a backstage segment to talk about wanting to be a contender for the title.

I think it is messed up that not even the fans in England give the Divas any kind of reaction, even Layla.

The battle royal was still more interesting than the closing segment. I enjoyed the match for what it was.

Well if Rosa wasn't sent home she may have been in the match, I don't know why Nattie wasn't in there though

Bellas were back in the US for the E! upfronts, but the excuse they gave made sense.

You know what I hate about Diva's battle royal's in general? The fact that they are not over the top rope.

You know what I hate about Diva's battle royal's in general? The fact that they are not over the top rope. Most of the divas are too weak to lift someone up that high (Rosa, Alicia), or too short to actually be able to go over the rope without it looking like they're trying (AJ).
